Chapter Six : Found

I woke up in the midnight. Eve was sleeping on the couch. I slowly came out of my room. Hallways were dark and silent. I came downstairs hiding from the guards. I just wanted to get out of this place, so I decided to go outside to refresh my mind. I want sometime alone to think what happened tonight. I wanted to process everything and think what should I do now. I just don't know what to do but for now I want to get out of here.

I finally came out of the palace by back door. I swam without knowing where I'm heading. For sometime I wanted to get lost. I moved further and further. My heart and my mind are at complete war. There were so many thoughts going in my mind. Why he never felt the way I feel for him? Am I not good enough for him? Why can't he see that I love him? My heart was saying that I can't lose him but my mind was saying it's for the best. I should move on.

Aahh! Love can suck a big time!

Loving someone who doesn't loves you back sucks!

My heart is replaying all the happiest moment of our past. It's painful to accept that he doesn't love me the way I love him.

But the fact is he loves someone else. Will it be right if now I confess my love to him? I don't want to spoil our friendship but at the same time I want him. Am I being selfish now?

I think I should let him go. That's his call with whom he wants to stay. The best thing I can do is respect his decision.

Maybe we weren't meant to be.

I know it'll take some time to accept this but at the end of the day I'll accept it.

It was a dark night, silence was disseminating everywhere. Sea was resting peacefully with slow waves kissing the shore. Cloudy sky was hiding the moon behind them.

I was swimming aimlessly in the sea. I saw big fishes playing with little colorful fishes, trying to catch them. Jelly fishes were swimming here and there while sea horses were sitting quietly at the sea bed. Groups of labio were going back to their beds. Crabs were sleeping on bed rocks. I didn't know exactly where I am now. I was just swimming further.

After few seconds crickets started making noises, breaking sound of dry branches and leaves could be heard. Sound of footsteps started growing.

And suddenly

******SPLASH******

I tried to concentrate on the direction of the sound. I started to look from where this sound came. I rushed forward to see what was it while swimming further I saw a group of boys standing at the shore. I hid myself behind a rock and saw them moving towards forest. They all were tall, well built and they were wearing hoodies. I couldn't see their faces. They were talking to each other in low tone. Few seconds later they disappeared in the darkness with their inhuman speed.

I couldn't register what I saw. What was happening? Then something striked my mind, the sound. They threw something in the sea. I need to find out what was it.

I started moving further in the hope of some clue. I swam deeper and deeper but couldn't find anything. But I can't give up like this. There was definitely something they threw and had to find it. I swam deeper and deeper while turning back my gaze felt on a sea anemone,something was there behind it. I moved further and what I saw was.... someone's hand!!!

I rushed towards it and found a guy lying there unconsciously. He was I guess in his mid 20's, tall, muscular with jet black hair falling on this cheekbone. He was wearing grey jeans, white V-neck T-shirt and black leather jacket. I checked his pulse. Thank God he was still alive. But he was not breathing. This guy was having a mysterious aura. So he was the one they threw in the sea. But why they'll throw him in the sea? Why those people tried to kill him? Who is he? My head was now exploding with thousand of questions.

I felt adrenaline rush pumping up, I was so shocked at that moment. I couldn't decide what I am supposed to do now. My mind went completely numb. I was staring him blankly. Should I save him or not? What if I save him and he turns out to be a criminal? And what if I don't save him and he turns a innocent guy?

His family must be worried about him. They would have been searching for him. What should I do now? I can't take him back to our palace. How I am going to explain everyone about him?

But I can't leave him here to die. I just can't let anyone die. I wanted to help but don't know how.

Waves now started becoming violent, wind blowing heavily. It was a sign of storm. Lightening and thunder storm started. It would start raining anytime.

I was still looking at him, with no idea what to do now. I wonder why those people did this to him?? And who is this guy? I couldn't decide I should just leave him here or do something about it. But I didn't know how to help him. I can't keep him under water any longer. Now I was stuck in this cumbersome situation and I didn't know any way out.
