Chapter 5

"Excuse me?" I asked him immediately when I heard his answer.

"I am your guardian angel" he answered like the way he answers my question earlier.

I thought that he will change the answers once I asked him again but it's looked like he is sure about what he is saying.

While looking at his eyes, I remember what my mother said to me. If at first, I wished I could have my guardian angel as my mother promised me, now I am not sure if I will believe what this man is saying that he is my guardian angel.

"Don't stare at me too much, you might fall in love" I froze when I heard what he said.

I raised my eyebrows and ask him.

"Excuse me?" it is me

"Am I blocking your way?" he asked me.

"What?" I asked back.

"What?" he mimicked what I said.

"What is your problem?" I asked seriously.

"I am just answering your questions what's the matter?" he answered.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I licked my lips and ask him again.

"Who are you?" He didn't answer me.

He just looked at me seriously and then he spoke.

"I should be the one asking that, who are you?" he said and also crossed his arm.

"My name is Terravine Gail, now what is yours?"

"I'm Marcus... Marcus Javire" he introduced himself and offered a hand to me.

I know what he wanted, he wanted a shake hands but I am not comfortable.

"I know that you know what I want," he said like he has read my mind.

"I don't want" I answer him,

It's true, I don't want a hand shake because I am not comfortable with him.

"You're so mean to the man who saved you." He complained, acting hurt as he pouted like a child.

"May I remind you...You are the reason why I am in this Hospital?" I said while raising my eyebrows to him.

Well I really should remind him because he's acting like I should be thankful to him.

"Who told you that it's my fault? It's your fault "he's pointing me while saying what he said.

Why did it become my fault?

"Why me?" I asked again. To be honest, I don't what to talk to him but I need answers.

"You passed out while crossing the road. You starved yourself so it's your fault." My mouth formed an "o" at his answer.

I blinked twice before laughing sarcastically.

"Me? Starving myself? No way, I passed out because you hit me with your car"

I chin up so he will have a clue that I am very sure of my answer but at the back of my mind, I am not also sure because I know to myself that I am starving at that time.

"Are you sure that I'm the one who hit you a car?" I did not answer his question

"I was just also crossing that road when I saw you fall. Just thank me for saving and taking care for you."

I still did not speak after he said that. I just looked at him and nodded.

When I looked at him, I now noticed what he looked like, because earlier I only noticed his back.

His hair is long but it looks good. You can also see his jaw and his sharp nose. He has a brown skin color

and his eyes are deep and very black. Her eyelashes and eyebrows are also long and thick, even thicker than mine.

I looked down at his arms and I was surprised to see his muscles here, even though the sleeves of his clothes were long you could clearly see that they were muscular.

My eyes returned to his face and I was swallowed up when I saw him staring intently at me.

"Didn't I tell you not to stare at me?"

"What's wrong with looking at you?" I asked him.

What's wrong if I look at him? He was also looking at me

"You might fall in-love with me, don't blame me when that happens." he said proudly.

What a shameless man, he think he is the most handsome creature in the world?

I just sighed and left him with whatever he wanted to think or do. I lay down on the bed and covered myself with a blanket. I was ready to go to sleep again when I remembered to ask him something.

"Where are we again?" I asked him, he stopped what he was doing at the table and looked at me.

"Where at Lunao." he smiled and went back to what he was doing.

I was left stunned by him, a few more seconds before I could recover from the shock.

"You're kidding right?" I was hoping he would say he was just joking but when he turned to me he smiled again and shook his head to say he was not joking.

"WHY THE HELL ARE WE AT LUNAO?!" I asked him angrily. I did not expect to be in Lunao, I thought I was still here in my hometown but I did not think I would go to Luano! Yes, I have come a long way when I walked away from the hospital but I do not know that I will go farther!

He seemed surprised when I shouted because his eyes widened. He put down whatever he was holding and then approached me.

"I brought you here because I do not know who you are" He explained

"That's It! You don't know who I am so why did you bring me here to this place ?!" I shouted at him again

"I have no plans to take you here! It's just, there is no room hospital available in your province." he said calmly

"No room available? It's impossible." I raised an eyebrow at him because it is impossible for all hospitals throughout Pampanga to lose all their room.

"Your just lying." I accuse him.

"Trust me, there is really no available hospitals all over Tanselia because three major incidents happened at the same time that day."

"How can I trust you if I only know your name, I am also not sure what you are saying is true."

"I've been watching you for a few days, I haven't done anything wrong to you."He said

"Few days?! How long did I sleep??" I ask when I heard that he's watching me for a few days.

"You slept for 3 days."

"WHAT?! During those three days you never thought of taking me home again ?!"

what the hell.

"I didn't bring you home because I need you." he explained as if he was running out of patience

"You need me for what?" I asked

"I need you to pretend." he answer

"Can you be the pretender?"

I did not answer, I'm still thinking about what he said.

What does he need from me?
