46 It's A Trap!

Xio Hanxi was rushing to where Andrea was and when he found her, he quickly reported. "They took the bait."

Andrea smiled hearing this and instructed her bro to get ready.

The location of Gabriel's Den was unknown to others but there were reports of its probable location and so not too far from the suspected area, a group of armed men was waiting for Lu Fang to come out of hiding.

The man on the lookout was patiently waiting under a huyang tree. The weather was cold as the sun was already starting to set. He rubbed his bald head while finishing his cigar when he saw a motorbike pass by with a figure of a woman.

The woman stopped for a while to greet him. "Hi, there! Loving the outdoors?"

"Yeah. Just love trees." The bald man replied.

The woman was extremely good-looking. He wondered how such a beauty could ride on her own in an isolated place.

"Could you help me lift my bike up on the road, please?"

The man grinned mischievously as he felt the girl was attracted to him and gladly assisted her. After putting the bike up on the side of the pavement, the girl immediately hugged the man and asked, "Hey, give me your number and maybe we can keep in touch."

The girl gave the man a seductive look that he could not refuse and so she managed to get a hold of his phone.

"Oh my gosh! What's that?" the girl explained pointing to the other direction.

The man looked back and saw nothing but trees and trees all over. "What did you see?"

"Gosh... I thought I saw a bear or something. Anyhow, my mistake. Here you go. Don't forget to keep in touch."

"Haha! Sure, sure, pretty. I'll keep in touch."

"Oh hey! You dropped your lighter," the girl said as she handed it out to him.

After the girl bid goodbye the bald man went back to his post.

15 minutes had passed and a car could be seen from afar.

"We have a visual of a black sedan coming towards the hi-way. It could be them."

"Affirmative. It's them. The same plate numbers provided in the intel."

Up ahead, a white-haired Caucasian was listening in the radio then happily declared, "Let's go make money!"

"Eagle two stay on the road up ahead in case they speed up. Eagle one will be waiting from this side."

Two black BMW sports cars parted ways as the bald man continued to observe the vehicle headed their way. As the sedan got closer, he threw his cigar on the ground and signaled the men to get ready. However, when the car drove up to the hi-way, it accelerated to the other direction! This caught the enemy by surprise.

"Catch up with them! Eagle two, go to the other direction!"

The first car began to open fire at the speeding sedan but it showed no signs of slowing down. They rushed to the same direction driving in high speed as they continued to shoot.

It did not take long for the sedan to shoot back using a powerful rifle.

"It looks like they prepared some firepower." The gray-haired man clenched his fists shouted at one of his men.

"Give them all that we got! We must get Lu Fang today!"

BAAM!

While trying to avoid the bullets, the driver of the first car ended up hitting the side of the road violently damaging the car indefinitely.

The gray-haired man managed to survive the crash along with one other companion. The driver, on the other hand, was not so lucky. When the second BMW managed to catch up, they all got on speeded up again.

"Drive!!!!"

The chase went on for another 30 minutes. The men behind the sedan were surprised how well driven the car was as it smoothly maneuvered its way avoiding most of the bullets. They continued to shoot at the sedan recklessly out of anger until it finally pulled up on the road.

"Check it! Check it!"

"The son of b**h had us gone for a ride! I will pluck his eyes out and show it to his father!"

The bald man could not help but complain! "He is the prince of Gabriel's Den what did you expect, Ramon? You are the real as***** around here!"

He quickly joined the other 2 men who went to check-out the car. As he walked he scanned the surroundings to make sure no one was around. It was a good thing they were in a remote area and they did not have to worry about witnesses.

When the other two men saw that the sedan was empty, they were confused and called out to their leader, "Ravoski!'"

They quickly held on to their guns but they were too late.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The other two men were it instantly dead.

Ravoski, was lucky to get shot only in the arm so he ran as fast as he could.

BANG! BANG!

He looked back to see a young man shooting at him firmly and saw that his only option was to jump off the cliff on the other side of the road so he went for it.

BANG!

Xio Hanxi managed to hit Ravoski on the leg and although he escaped down the cliff, it would be hard to survive the fall. He studied the area where the bald man had fallen and saw it was covered with trees. He could not see a thing. A search is needed to be done to be sure.

Seeing what was happening up ahead, Ramon exclaimed. "This is a trap! It's a trap! Driveaway now you idiot!"

They swiftly turned back the car and drove to the other direction. Ramon was cursing all throughout the drive. He was furious and wondered where could they have gone wrong! The plan was solid. He quickly dialed a number hoping to report the incident.

The car was driving at 100 KMH with no intentions of decelerating when the driver saw a girl standing behind a motorbike in the middle of the hi-way. He was deciding whether to drive through her or turn to the side.

"Drive at her, you idiot! She's obviously one of them!"

Andrea pulled out her pistol and shot.

BANG!

The driver was shot in the head and the car swiveled in effect.

Seeing the car was still in motion, she rode her bike and pulled down the gas and escaped getting hit in seconds.

The car continued to turn just meters away when it finally slowed down and hit a large tree. Andrea drove up her bike to check for survivors when she heard gunshots coming at her.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

She quickly rolled down the pavement and fired back until the other party was already out of ammo. Meanwhile, Andrea only had one bullet left so she needed to make it count. Thus, she aimed at the gas tank and it did not take long for the car to explode.
