23 Chapter 23 – Being who she was born to be.

Sabrina could not hold back her tears, as Devin rubbed her back comfortingly. "Where are you, Tilda? I want to see you." Sabrina's voice was as soft as a feather.

Matilda was always kind but even kind people had their limits. Sabrina never expected Matilda to miss her after she neglected her in her time of need.

"I…I want to see you too but I can't. My father locked me away. He sees me as a disgrace. I was drunk, Brina. I had no idea what happened. I don't know if someone injected the drugs into my body but the only thing I did was drink too much because of my heartbreak," Matilda explained through Sobs.

She had also been looking for someone to just listen to her side of the story but nobody did. They believed the doctors' report without caring to know how it happened but Sabrina was taken aback by the second part of her story.
