19 Chapter 19 – Daniel’s probing

The land line was connected to three different places. The master bedroom, the living room and the study. Those are the places Robin knew he'd be at most times. He was not sure whether Zayla was still in the living room and answered it quickly before she did.

"Daniel, I'm busy and Zayla is here. Let's meet at the club on Friday."

"Wait a minute, you mean you are scared of Zayla? Since when did you begin to fear any woman?" Daniel asked stupefied from the end of the line.

Robin was defensive. "I told you she saved my life before."

Both Daniel and Robin were into women so Daniel had no idea that Robin had divorced Sabrina because of Zayla. He thought Robin was keeping both women. "So, you left your wife because of her? Robin, if I met a woman like Sabrina before, I wouldn't have given other women attention. Even when you cheated countless times, she still stayed," Daniel pointed out.
