Chapter 125 : The Fire

While the audience descended into chaos, the performers on stage were similarly overcome by fear.

The young ladies were screaming while running around like scared ducklings while the young men bumped against every surface and fell down repeatedly while they tried to escape the chaotic situation.

"Everyone, return backstage!" Takiko hollered. Midori grabbed any student she could reach in the darkness and pushed them towards the backstage.

"Go! Go! Go! Don't dawdle!"

In response to the sudden chaos, Himawari and other female students at the backstage lit candles, providing ample lighting for the panicked students.

"What happened???"

"I think it was murder," a male student said, his voice shaking from fear. "I saw the glint of steel. Someone brought a sword into the auditorium..."

"It is impossible," Takiko snapped. "Do not spread false rumors. Why would anyone try to commit murder during a play? It doesn't make sense at all!"
