Beep...Beep...Beep
-Praetor system coming online-
-Prism wake up if you do not move quickly there will be no escape- Waking up slowly I feel the chamber I have been growing in has finally opened yet I see nothing, Only the voice of The system in my head lets me know I'm actually awake. "How are we to escape if I can not see?"
-You have the power of creation Prism say the words 'all seeing eye' and allow your power to create the rune you need then absorb it-
Taking a deep breath I trust the system "All seeing eye" as I speak the energy in my body circulates and I can feel the rune floating in front of me as I reach out and take it into my body.
-All seeing eye has been absorbed-
Immediately the room comes into sight but not just in front of me, when I used all seeing eye it gave me the power of constantly seeing all around me.
-We don't have time for sight seeing prism can you move?-
"Yes just not easily" Slowly I put one foot in front of the other and walk across the room full of scientific tools and machines with rows and rows of flashing lights changing constantly. Luckily no alarm has sounded as of yet.
Reaching the door I slowly open it a few inches and poke my head out allowing my 'eyes' to scan up and down the hallways -the guards are changing shifts right now you have about five minutes to get out of here safely, but there is another option-
"I have a feeling I am not going to like what you are about to tell me."
-Just down the hall to the left is the library, if you allow me to scan one of the computers and a few books I can assimilate all the knowledge you need to get out of here quickly-
Rubbing the back of my head I sigh, "I have no idea what that means but if you think it will help let's go" With that decided I quickly rush down the hall and into the library making sure to very quietly shut the door. In front of me are rows of 'computers' as the system calls them and shelves of what I guess are books.
-sit at that computer and allow me to handle the rest-
Walking to the computer I sit down and a panel of glowing words appears in front of my face.

- Permission to scan all information?-
"Scan everything important and be quick please" Immediately a small beep is heard within my brain and words,meanings and images begin to flood my head as a slight pain overtakes me. Gripping the desk in front of me I have no choice but to grit my teeth and bare with the pain as hundreds of definitions and phrases are forcefully learned.
-That will take a while for you to fully understand for now we need books on space, time and geography.-
Standing up I stop for a second as my right hand gathers energy "Comprehension" the rune slowly appears and floats into my forehead as all the information is condensed and processed.
-you learn quickly, this is good smart people live longer-
ignoring the slight sarcasm I grab the books for space theory off the top shelf and time control off of the bottom shelf.

Pinching my nose with my left hand at the slight headache, the Comprehension rune takes care of both sets of information as I hold my right hand out and try forming two runes at once "chronomancy" "spacial control" Two Glowing black runes appear in front of me before absorbing into my forehead.

Time control Lvl 1 (0%): for five minutes speed up, slow down, or completely stop time in a ten meter radius. radius and length of time will increase with mastery of the skill ten minute cool down
Spatial control Lvl 1 (0%): Use the power of the cosmos to create spatial anomalies, can create wormholes, distortions and gravity fields. Only one anomaly can be present at a time. 2 minute cool down.

All seeing eye Lvl 1 (10%) Since you have no eyes this skill is always active and allows you to see all around you. as mastery increases detail and depth perception will increase.
Comprehension Lvl 1 (10%) Any knowledge or skill you learn is automatically processed and stored. also allows for easy learning of foreign languages. as mastery progresses learning speed will increase and extra knowledge can randomly be added to a skill.
-we really should be going now though I'm not sure how easy it will be since the shifts have changed-
"is there a rune for invisibility?"
-of course there is, do you think it will work?-
"it will if I word the rune correctly" Raising my right hand I take a deep breath and concentrate, "anti-surveillence invisibility" a Glowing gold rune slowly forms and is absorbed as I read the description the system gives me
-Active skill Anti-surveillence invisibility Lvl 1 (0%) - for fifteen minutes all surveillance types and people you encounter turn a blind eye to your movements. Can only be used twice a day. longer times and more uses will be added mastery increases.
Activating my new skill I quickly leave the library and in less than ten feet almost run over a guard who is approaching the lab I was being held in. Holding my breath and squeezing by I begin to sprint down the hall as Praetor provides me with a map of the structure -you forgot the geography book you know-. Ignoring him I get around the corner as an ear piercing alarm rings.
Whispering softly I chuckle "I think they know I'm missing" at this point I'm already at the door to the parking garage that leads outside and only one guard is standing there. I step closer as I activate Chronomancy and time stops around me "sorry old boy it's nothing personal"

Taking a deep breath I step forward and place my hand on the guards chest as I remove his key card and simultaneously create a vortex behind him that sucks him in and crushes his body.

Protection (Lvl 1) A small shield that can block all damage up to 100 points . as mastery progresses the shield will be able to absorb more damage.
After all that it's only been three minutes since I left the library, swiping James's card I silently slip out of the building and run across the parking garage, darting up the exit ramp I find myself surrounded by people and a strange combination of animals pulling carriages and a few futuristic looking motorcycles.
-Head down to the left there is a small ferry we can take out of this city for free, it is commonly used for felons but you gotta do what you gotta do-
Still under the cover of my invisibility rune I weave through the foot traffic and walk about 300 kilometers down the road till I find a small dock hidden behind a large stone inn. Stepping into the shadows I cancel my rune and approach the ferryman. "I've heard you're the man to talk to about getting out of this city?"
Looking at my smooth eyeless face the man shakes a little and nods. "Aye sir that'd be me names Jameson h..have a seat please"
Sitting on the smooth wood seat I keep up my guard as Jameson pushes off from the dock and we begin the journey of becoming strong enough to never be used as a puppet.
