2 The Thieves

"kyaaaaa" lots of screams were heard from the Citizens as a small group of thieves ran away. There were a bunch of them and they were not satisfied with robbing a single store but they have robbed a couple of stores, and no one was able to catch them until now. They weren't particularly strong or huge, the largest one was about the size of an average runner, but the reason they weren't caught till now was because of their filthy tricks and fast legs.

"it's the thieves, they're here again. My shop, they robbed my shop, someone please catch them." A seller desperately shouted. His face was pale and colors were drowning from it. It was like he will cry any moment.

A 14- year- old boy was chasing the thieves. He was tall and a fast runner but no match for them. His yellow hair shone under the sun, it looked like every hair was a strand of lightning. With red eyes that seemed like a burning flame.

"Kija catch them" some of the citizens were pinning their hope on him. Other adults were running with him but they soon gave up stopping halfway unable to move another step.

"We are cheering for you"

"you're the fastest"

"don't stand there and watch. Come and help me." Shouted Kija with an angry voice.

Kija kept chasing them until he ran out of breath and he couldn't move any further.

"come on, is that your limit?"

"they are running away"

"WORD IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE" screamed Kija

"well, I think it's my turn" a strange voice appeared behind them. Everyone turned to face the voice with curiosity as a strange guy all dressed in black stood above a small house smiling as if he's laughing at the Citizens.

"who are you?"

"don't make fun of us"

"as if you can catch them"

"why not?" said the guy Sarcastically

He jumped from the roof and landed steadily on the ground, a normal person would have at least broke a leg if he did that. The guy wasn't tall and didn't seem strong too, it was easy to tell even though he was completely covered from head to toe.

He chased the thieves with extraordinary speed and in no time he had already passed the thieves and stood right in front of them.

"do you think you can stop us alone?" Said one of the thieves

A smile grew on the black guy's face as the thieves came closer. One of the thieves got something out of his pocket and raised his hand, it was a light explosive they used many times in their robbery. The moment the explosive touches the ground, a beam of light appears forcing everyone to close their eyes giving them time to run.

The thief was about to throw it. Kija shouted " that basted" before he closes his eyes even before the explosive was thrown and everyone did the same but seconds passed and nothing happened. They opened their eyes in confusion.

But what was in front of their eyes was breathtaking and everyone was speechless with fear freezing them in their place. The thief was not able to move his arm any inch, the black guy was catching his hand stopping it completely. He smirked and strengthened his grip a little and the thief started whining in pain. That's when the other thieves gathered around him. Another thief shouted, " leave him and we will spare you." He moved a step forward but a loud shout came from the captured man "AHHH".

The atmosphere suddenly turned chilly and the black guy glared at the man, even though they could not see his eyes it was terrifying, chills ran through their body. The guy threatened " one step and I will break his hand"

" ahh – ahh. Help" the man seemed in so much pain and the other thief gave a "tsk" and didn't move another step.

" drop everything" said the guy and the thieves did obediently. " now leave him" said the thief. They thought about running by themselves but the bloody atmosphere kept them trembling in their place unable to move. It seemed like if they try to move an inch from their place the 'monster guy' will come after their life.

" fine" the guy said and raised his hand with the man throwing him in the air. He fell harshly on the ground and the other thieves hurried to grab him and run away.

There was silence for seconds and then the bloody atmosphere disappeared and he looked at the citizens.

"gulp." They hardly swallowed their saliva and then a voice shouted "Wow"

"that guy is amazing"

"you are so cool"

" How did you do that?"

The strange guy never answered the citizen's questions. Everyone went to take their stolen things, and when they looked back again to thank that guy, he was nowhere. He disappeared.
