16 Flashback 3(finale)

(John POV).

(10 seconds before the explosion)

John: Yeah, I got lucky with the position.

Said I with a smile as I was lying on a high hill and I could see my targets from here and the whole mansion, what fools too many windows all the targets as in the palm of my hand

*BOOM*

*Huge boom*

Well it's already started, I'll keep an eye on my company, which is 7 people. They're a danger to society just like us, but they're making nukes and that's not very cool

John: Wait, why are they still sitting around?

I was looking at the big window with 7 people sitting there playing poker, the explosion they must have heard so why aren't they panicking, why do I think they haven't heard?

Yes because the guards are already alert, which means they heard, and the guards are both outside and inside, and the ones inside are already personal bodyguards

I can't figure out what the hell is going on.

What's going on?

I'm touching my ear.

John: Boss, we got some shit going on here. Boss?

John: Aah, fuck.

I yelled out because my earbuds were giving off a jamming sound.

Somebody put a muffler on it.

John: Fuck my ears

I threw out my headphones but now my ears hurt

I'm getting out of position.

Still can't hear anything.

I see somebody in front of me, I pull out my gun and walk slowly over to a tree to hide

I went to the tree and hid

Looked to the side.

The masked man with the blood came at me, I didn't have time to step back or shoot him he already waved his hand at my neck and in his hand was a knife

I felt a pain in the neck and before I had time to do anything I fell to the ground, and the masked man walked away

I'm sorry boss I didn't do my mission

Those were the last thoughts in my head.

(Michael's POV)

(After Kali and Kyle left)

Michael: John, John where are you?

Michael: Kali, Kyle, Lily where the hell are you all?!

Did somebody put a jammer on this thing?

Damn it, now I got to do everything myself.

I was on the roof and I was standing over my target where I was supposed to kill people.

*Knock*

I pull out my gun, I turn around and I see Laura.

Michael: What the hell are you doing here Laura?!

Laura: I lost contact with all of you and I came here because I was in the security room so I was closer to here and I came running here

Michael: Why were you crying Laura?

Laura: W-why are you crying?

Michael: Your eyes are red and I can see how hard you're breathing, what's wrong?

I move closer to her.

Laura: I'm sorry Michael, I'm sorry.

Michael: For what?

Laura: For this.

I felt the damage of the discharge in my stomach.

*BZZZ*

I fell to the ground and looked at Laura in shock, how could she do that after all we are on a mission

Michael: W-w-w-why?

Laura: I'm sorry Michael, they threatened to kill my little brother and I can't let that happen, we're too dangerous a team for our bosses and they used me to kill you. John, Kali, Lily, Kyle, they're all dead. John was killed by the best assassin, Kali and Kyle by a roadside bomb and 3 people who was just the son of a deputy and they asked us to protect him and it turned out he was just bait, Lily was killed by 3 bartenders and those 3 bartenders were trained assassins she alone could not handle 3 people it was not even the skill, it was the gas, bartenders used gas on Lily this gas weakened her and they ended up killing her. You're the last one left and that's it, but I wish I could kill you myself because I love you.

I bit my tongue until it bled and it gave me back some control and shot her

I shot her in the legs and I wanted to shoot her in the arms, but I didn't make it in time cause I got shot

I looked where I was shot from and there was a man in a mask

I can already feel the darkness in my eyes and I've lost too much blood

I'm about to die, if I could see you again I'd make this team again...

Michael: See you team.

Said I in a faint voice, and I can't see or hear anything I just want to sleep
