The power of deconstructing and reconstructing.

Logan grumbles as he says sorry Edith but I have to get to my desk and get to work before our boss begins yelling at me again and causing a scene and we all don't want that.: Edith: Oh come on its just work.

as Edith nudges Logan. As Logan walks to his desk and sits down, to gets to work.

"10 hours later"

:Edith: Man how bout we go to a go to a food bar. Edith says while laughing.

:Logan: Well you better be paying then.

:Edith: I go to anyway. as they both begin to laugh. A person with a knife running down the street, Logan see's them and pushes Edith out of the way, as he gets stabbed in his side as he begins to bleed out. Edith runs over to Logan. :Edith: Don't die on me please, I know you always act like you care but I know you do so please you can't die. As Edith screens someone call 911! Logan wakes up in a hospital, he tries to sit up but the splitting pain in his side make it harder for him to sit up.

Logan says nothing continue to walk to his desk, with his friend continuing to buy him along the way. "Edith leave me alone." Logan says uncomfortably.

"Logan come on can't you have a little fun." Edith says with a wide grin and a happy attitude.

Logan finally reaches his desk sitting down and Edith walking away leaving out protagonist alone, looking around he lets out a sigh of relief.

"10 hours later"

Logan and Edith are walking side by side laughing and cracking jokes while walking down the street, until Logan hears fast tapping causing him to look forward and see a person wearing a black jacket rushing towards them, he freezes in place with fear busting forth like a jack in a box and right beside it the adrenaline courses through his veins and entire being.

Edith stops in realization that Logan has stop walking beside him and has gone awfully quite, Edith looks behind him to see Logan frozen in place like a statue,

As the person wearing a black cloak gets closer to Edith, his mind races as he tries to process what happening infront of him, but he doesn't get enough time. As the person is getting closer as he runs over to Edith pushing him out of the way, only for the blade to be pushed into his abdomen with the adrenaline still coursing through his veins he grabs the attacker by the arm before they can run off and pulls them in crashing their knee into their own knee.

The attacker falls to the ground with a thud unconscious. As the adrenaline wears off, the pain shoots through his body causing him to fall to the ground on one knee, he groans in pain as small amount of blood trickles from the wound.

Edith quickly rushes over to Logan and grab him before he falls onto the hard concrete that makes up the sidewalk, thoughts rushed and flew out of his mind as he tried to figure out what to do but his fleeting thoughts prevented him from thinking properly.

Every onlooker just stared at the scene; nobody dared to take action as everything that just occurred shocked everyone, nobody could even react to what was infront of them.

Edith look at over to onlookers and screamed "What the hell are y'all staring at call 911!" with his voice cracks between each word.

The onlookers quickly pulls their phones from their pocket shaking as they call the police.

"Unknown amount of time"

His eyes flicker open only to be blinded by a bright light, quickly he covers his face with his arms to block out the bright light that had blinded him. He looks around the room to see normal hospital room stuff before just continuing to stare up at the ceiling.

He begins pondering stuff he had never before but only for his thoughts get interrupted by the sound of the sliding door. He hears murmuring of two distinct voices one female and one male he ponders who the two are but gives up as his head aches with pain.

"I'm so glad you okay." he hears the man's voice echo throughout the room.

Logan slightly sits up coughing as he sees the friend he saved. "A least I'm still alive and didn't die by Truck-Kun." he says jokingly. The female beside him makes a confused noise as Edith burst out into uncontrollable laughter unable to hold it back.

"Man... *Laughter* bro you just woke up and you make that joke." his friend Edith says still trying to hold back his intense laughter with the women beside him still confused at what the two is laughing at..

"What are you two laughing at?" she ask looking between the two trying to figure out the joke the man on the hospital bed made; the two just keep laughing for awhile before stopping and explaining the joke to her.

The women just stares at the two of them in awe at how they can joke about his friend almost dying, it's like they don't even care but she can't really talk as she has made jokes about things like this with her friends.

"Oh yeah I probably should introduce you to my friend over here." Edith says with a wide grin, that says it all.

"Logan this is Susan and Susan this is Logan." he says with a wide smile on his face as he finally introduced the both of his friends to each other.

"I be right back." he says as you leave the hospital room, with the door closing behind him Susan's face goes from innocent to pure hatred, she seemly mumble to herself before saying "It's all your fault he hasn't noticed my feeling for him, if you just didn't exist maybe." the words that came out of her mouth ring through his ear.

The meaning of the words finally hit him as his body tensed in fear as he struggled to move, Susan walked closer to him, her hand reaches into her purse; his hears stuff moving around in it as she pulls out a syringe filled with a brown liquid, despite not knowing what that liquid is, his body and mind told him it would kill him but he really couldn't stop her as he still was really weak.

Susan grabs ahold of the IV tube before lifing up the syringe filled with the brown substance to the IV tube and pushes the syringe into the tube as she injects the liquid into the IV tube but before he can do or say anything he feels his eyes and body get heavy.

Feeling his body get weaker and weaker with every passing second as he accepts his fate as he closes his eyes awaiting death, darkness envelopes his mind as he sees a bright white light with unintelligible words echoing through his mind but before who can make the words out everything goes black once again.
