15 - Deep in thoughts

Note: Again, I'd like to remind you, that as I can't use Italic here, when I want to show someone's thoughts, I use ' ' instead of " ".

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes and looked at the man in front of him. Seokjin hyung was sleeping peacefully, his face seemed so peaceful, he's even smiling. One of the elder's arms were laid under Jungkook's neck, the other one was on his waist while their legs were tangled under the sheets.

It was still unbelievable for Jungkook that he could be someone like Seokjin hyung. It was not just about his looks; his soul was as pure as an angel's. Faith had a weird humor, Jungkook thought, as Seokjin's heart was beating faster for a person who had demon-like powers. And Jungkook would do anything to make the elder happy. Cliché or not, this short period of time was enough for Jungkook to have these emotions. To feel how his skin prickled under Seokjin's touch, how his smile made his pulse go higher while warmth bloomed in his chest at the sight of it.

"I think I fell in love with you." It was only a whisper; Jungkook didn't want to wake Seokjin up, but he felt like he had to say these words out loud. His hyung's eyes were still shut, his lips were slightly parted, his even breathing could be heard.

A few moments later Seokjin stirred a bit, humming while he pulled Jungkook closer to himself. The younger held back a chuckle and reached his hand to Seokjin's chest, touching his skin gently. Jungkook felt the elder's heartbeat under his palm while he looked at his stunning face; he just couldn't take off his eyes from the latter.

Jungkook bit his lower lip, suddenly feeling an urge to kiss Seokjin. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, but it didn't help at all as he smelled the elder's scent that turned him on even more instead of calming him down.

"You drive me insane even when you're sleeping." The lust made Jungkook's voice low as he spoke; he leaned closer and closer towards Seokjin, his half-closed eyes focused on his tempting lips. Jungkook felt under his palm how the elder's heart started to beat faster, it made him stop his movement; their lips almost touched as Jungkook smiled.

"You woke up, sleeping beauty?" Jungkook's question was just a whisper.

Seokjin didn't answer him; he leaned closer, pushing their lips together instead. The kiss was slow; they moved closer to each other until their chests flushed, their legs tangled even more.

A few moments later they dragged away a bit to look at each other; Seokjin's swollen lips formed a small smile as he stared at Jungkook's lustful gaze.

"Oh, when did I get a nickname?" Seokjin asked, his voice was a bit hoarse as he just woke up.

"Why, you don't like it?"

"Hmm, I don't know… it doesn't describe me well enough." The elder replied with a frown. His expression made Jungkook chuckle, and he couldn't hold back himself from rubbing his nose with Seokjin's.

"How should I call you then?"

'My love', Seokjin thought, and he almost said it out loud, but he stayed quiet. He saw that Jungkook noticed his hesitation as he was looking at him with a frown; he felt that his cheeks were burning too, but thankfully Jungkook didn't push it. Seokjin couldn't say these words, they just met a few days ago for God's sake. He knew that Yoongi helped him to realise his feelings towards the younger, but that didn't mean that Jungkook felt the same way. It was obvious that Jungkook was attracted to him, but love was a different thing. Maybe, maybe it was more than just a simple attraction, but Seokjin couldn't tell it for sure. The fact that he could read in someone's emotions didn't mean that he was capable of recognizing love. Seokjin didn't even know he fell in love with Jungkook, how could he tell if the younger felt the same way towards him?

"So? Any ideas?" Jungkook asked with a soft smile on his face. As Seokjin didn't trust his voice, he shook his head. The younger gave him a peck on the lips and rubbed their noses together once more.

"We'll figure out something." Jungkook said with a playful voice, his eyes sparkled mischievously. Seokjin nodded and hugged him tightly; the sudden movement made Jungkook chuckle, but he didn't drag away, he curled his arms around Seokjin's waist and put his head at the crook of his neck, his breathing tickled the elder's skin.

Seokjin took a deep breath as he extended his powers; he wanted to find out Jungkook's emotions.

Warmness spread in Seokjin's chest, it was a calm, relaxing feeling, making his skin tingle. It was very similar to what he felt when he showed his emotions to Yoongi. Seokjin hugged Jungkook tighter as he was thinking. Jungkook… loved him? The curiosity was killing him, but he couldn't ask Jungkook about it. But there was another option…

'Yoongi? Are you awake?' Seokjin reached out with his thoughts towards Yoongi, praying that the latter wasn't sleeping.

'It's been a while… what is it hyung? Is there something wrong?' Seokjin heard the answer a few moments later.

'No, everything's fine, I just… I'd like to ask you a favour, if it could be made somehow.' Seokjin was sure that his nervousness could be heard even through his thoughts.

'And what would that be?' The fact that Yoongi didn't say no right away was almost a win already in Seokjin's opinion.

'Could you take a look in Jungkook's mind?'

'Why would I do such a thing? Didn't you ask me not to do that?' Seokjin's first thought was that one day he's going to kill Yoongi.

'Yoongi, please! I'd like to know if he feels the same way as me.'

'Yes.' The quick reply made Seokjin frown; he was sure there was no way Yoongi was this fast.

'Wha-what? You didn't even look into his mind!'

'I didn't have to. He'd been already thinking about how he shouldn't fall in love with you so fast when we met.' Seokjin heard Yoongi's reply echoing in his head, but he just couldn't comprehend it.

While they're communicating through their minds, Seokjin was still holding Jungkook between his arms; it looked like he fell back asleep. He was snoring quietly in the elder's embrace, his arms were laid lazily around Seokjin's waist. Seokjin's eyes started stinging, he was close to crying. He tried to sniff quietly, hoping that he wouldn't wake up the younger.

'Thank you for telling me, Yoongi.' Seokjin sent his thoughts towards Yoongi as he looked at the sleeping Jungkook in his arms.

'There's nothing to be thankful for, hyung. I love you, and you deserve to be happy.' Seokjin wanted to remember this moment, how gentle Yoongi's voice was in his mind; he barely showed this side of himself. 'But if he hurts you in any way, I'm gonna kill him. Just saying.' Yoongi added a few moments later. Seokjin almost laughed out loud; the old, grumpy Yoongi returned.

Seokjin kissed the top of Jungkook's head and took a deep breath; he wanted to sleep a bit more.

'Hyung!' Seokjin heard Yoongi's voice in his head again.

'What?'

'Next time try to moan a bit less loudly, please.' Seokjin's cheeks started burning at the comment.

'I-I'm sorry.' Seokjin wanted to bury himself, this was so embarrassing!

'Whatever, you just persecuted me; I had to wander in the streets in the middle of the night.' Yoongi said, and Seokjin could see in front of him how he'd shrug his shoulders with a careless face.

'Oh, poor you!' Seokjin had to hold back a snort. Yoongi was such a dumbass! Sometimes Seokjin wondered why he was letting the latter live with him in the first place…

'I know, right? I almost met /him/ too…' Yoongi added, and it made Seokjin's eyes go wide.

'What? Where?' Seokjin knew who was Yoongi talking about, and he knew that person well enough to know that it was unusual for him to be on the streets instead of a practice room.

'At the park; I just started walking back home when I heard his thoughts. He wasn't sure if he'd seen me, and I didn't give a chance for him see me again.' Seokjin felt sorry for Yoongi; he was sure that the telepath still wasn't over him, just like Seokjin wasn't over his own ex, but Yoongi would never admit that.

'Oh, I'm also pretty sure that I found someone like us.' The sudden statement caught Seokjin off guard.

'Really? What makes you think that?' Seokjin wanted to know, he was just as curious as Yoongi had been when he'd found out that Jungkook's an incubus.

'I heard someone who was thinking about how they wanted to release his wings on a rooftop. I looked around, but whoever this person is, they can hide them as I didn't see anyone with wings. I have no idea who it was, all I heard was this snippet of his internal thinking.' Seokjin had a hunch that there was something the latter didn't tell him.

'Yoongi, I know there's something more. Spill it!" All Seokjin heard was silence. "Min Yoongi, answer me!'

'Jesus, calm down, hyung! You're such a pain in the ass…' Seokjin was thinking about what he had in his mind a few moments ago; why did he let Yoongi live with him?

'Yoongi!' The elder's whole body tensed up, feeling more and more pissed off.

'I slipped into his mind while I was sleeping.'

Well, the reply wasn't that Seokjin expected; the anger he felt transformed into curiosity.

'What do you mean by that?' Seokjin asked a few seconds later with a frown.

'I saw everything through his eyes. Like I occupied him or something like that.' Yoongi replied after a few moments, like he wasn't sure either what had happened to him.

'Were there any other cases this happened to you?' Seokjin had to ask; he couldn't recall if the latter have ever mentioned anything like this before.

'Yes.' The answer was too short for Seokjin's liking.

'When was the first time you had this… vision?' Seokjin asked, but he didn't get a response for a few seconds.

'Last night.' The elder had a really bad feeling about this.

'Whose mind did you slip into?' A part in Seokjin didn't want to know the answer.

'Yours.' Yoongi replied. Shit.

'What do you mean exactly by last night?' If there was a God, and they had at least a little bit of mercy, Yoongi's answer wouldn't be what Seokjin was guessing.

'Not longer after I shut the door on you two.' No, there's no God at all. Or if there was, they wanted Seokjin to suffer.

'Do I wanna know what you saw?' Seokjin asked with burning cheeks.

'I don't think so.' He heard Yoongi's reply in his head a few seconds later. Seokjin closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.

'Okay. But you have to tell me more about this mysterious person!' The elder was curious; he hoped they'd find them.

'Fine, but just let me be already, I want to sleep, hyung.' Yoongi said, and Seokjin knew by the tone of his voice that the conversation was over for his part. Seokjin closed his eyes once again as he tried to fall back asleep.

An angel… what did they look like? How old were they? What did their wings look like? Seokjin had so many questions whirling in his mind, keeping him awake.

Jungkook hummed a bit in his embrace, rubbing his face at the crook of Seokjin's neck; his grip tightened a bit around the elder's waist. Seokjin felt like a thousand needles were piercing his skin, it made him hiss in pain. Fear? What scared him in his sleep?

"Jungkook?" Seokjin softly stroked his hair, but he didn't get a response. A groan escaped from the younger's lips; he tightened his grip even more around his waist, his fingers were digging into Seokjin's skin. Jungkook tried to pull his legs up to his chest, but he couldn't do it as they're tangled with the elder's legs. Seokjin sensed that Jungkook's fear grew, it became more intense; it made Seokjin gasp for air, like someone was sitting on his chest.

Seokjin put his hands on the younger's shoulders and shook him a bit, trying to wake him up.

"Jungkook, wake up!" Seokjin said, his voice wasn't as loud as he wanted it to be, the younger's fear made it harder for him to speak.

"Ple-please don't! Stop it, please!" Jungkook's voice cracked, and a few moments later Seokjin felt tears on his skin.

"Jungkook, wake up!" Seokjin shook him again with more force after he dragged him away a bit. Finally it worked; the younger blinked a few times as he looked at Seokjin. Jungkook stared at him with his big eyes for a moment before he squeezed them shut and leaned against Seokjin's chest, holding him so tight like his life depended on it. The elder curled his arms around Jungkook, hugging him back immediately.

Good lord, Seokjin's heart ached so much for Jungkook; the younger cried so hard, his sobbing made his whole body tremble. Seokjin caressed his back with one of his hands while he softly stroked his silky black locks with the other, hoping that it'd help him to calm down at least a bit. The sorrow and sadness were like a wire around Seokjin's neck, making it harder to breathe properly. Seokjin could use his powers to suppress the younger's emotions, but he didn't want to use it without his consent. His only guess was that Jungkook must've had a nightmare or relived an old memory in his dream.

'Oh, Jungkookie, what had happened to you?'
