34 The Video Call (pt. 3)

"Miss Ioshiri would like to withdraw from the deal." 

My chest felt like a knife was stuck stuck in the sternum. It was impossible to not see this coming, but somehow, I'd managed to miss it. 

"I understand, but you should know that we're handling it as fast as possible. The plans for the collaboration haven't been leaked yet, and we are doing everything in our power to keep them confidential," it was obvious that the Green Marks Gaming x Kay Ioshiri collaboration would be the one saving grace in this situation, but if miss Ioshiri decided to withdraw from the contract, then Green Marks would fall flat on the ground. "I hope you will reconsider after hearing this," the chance was slim to none.
