"Do you guys think I'm making a mistake?" I rubbed beneath my eyes with my reusable microfiber makeup removing towel to get as much eyeshadow as possible off my face. The days had been long and the setting spray I used to keep my aesthetic mask in place was working overtime.
"You've made a series of mistakes, to be honest. But whatever, it's your life," Helena seemed preoccupied on the other end of the line. I hadn't seen her much during the get-togethers with Sabrina and Nikolas, but I always made sure to call her and inform her. And I was pretty sure Sabrina wouldn't let her go without knowledge of my current events, either.
"Well I think it's a great idea. A lot of people do home births, you know," Nikolas, on the other hand, seemed ecstatic with the news, but then again he was ecstatic about everything. "It might even be safer than a hospital birth because there's no risk of the babies being swapped out."
