63 The Meet

"Where are you going?" Jason was standing at the doorway of my room, arms crossed, eyebrows drawn together, eyes dark and staring at my attire. "You look beautiful." 

"Thank you," my hands grabbed my earrings and I began to push the studs in and clip them around the back. "Dinner with Jack tonight. I should be back before eleven." 

"You're still going to that?" He didn't look happy about it in the slightest. "What if the media gets wind and twists the story?" 

"Relax, I already asked Sabrina to come along for that very purpose. If the paps see her, they will assume she's there with him. I have it all planned out, don't worry," everything had already been planned out, and I knew that it was absolutely a necessity for me to speak to Jack again. I really liked him, and considering how things left off, I didn't want him to get the wrong impression. 

"And I couldn't go along because…"
