The Interview (pt. 1)

It was finally the day of the move. Nearly two weeks later, after relentless house hunting and amateur detective work from both of us, we'd found the perfect house with a gate, extra security, and plenty of surrounding land for a garden. There were also pine trees on the property so I knew exactly where my new meditation spot would be. Just because I was going into an unhappy situation didn't mean that I couldn't take advantage of it, right?

Jason and I went fifty-fifty on the cost of the house, and before we knew it, furniture shopping needed to take place. We'd spent all day yesterday shopping for essential furniture that would fit the ambiance of our new house, and we even ordered some things online to top it off.
