The next couple of days following Marika's arrest were filled with the Lorcan family's tense and nerve-wracking moments. Mikhael was finally well enough and fortunately didn't sustain any internal damage from his fall, and was released a couple of days later with his doctor's approval.

His mother quickly ushered him back to the mansion, where he was to stay and recuperate, not that he minded. As much as he wanted to be by his sister's side, there were times when he just wanted to stay in the mansion and spend time with both Lyra and Lia as much as possible. He hasn't been able to do that as of yet, since the company he trained was sending him all over the state, just so he could get used to and get a good grasp of where he'll be working at.
