128 Awake

The sun had risen and fallen in the sky but Mikhael was still on the hospital bed, laying still as the day he was brought in. Aspen had actually assured both Kathleen and Alexis that he was recovering almost perfectly and wouldn't take too long to wake up. 

Mikhael's unconscious form had finally been moved from the ICU to a VIP ward, courtesy of Azriel, who had also been visiting Mikhael since he had been moved and finally fulfilling his promise to his lover of giving her a picture of her brother plus a daily update.

He would watch over Mikhael when he had the chance and send his parents to have a decent sleep back in the mansion and to check up on their other child, who also had made great progress in recovering. Nesryn could finally walk normally again, no more using a wheelchair and being carried around for her, much to her excitement.
