1 Akitos Arrival

It was around 12 o'clock when I saw a teenage boy standing outside the window and I heard him banging on the glass. I ran from the family room, up the stairs to my room and locked the door. I closed all of the blinds and ran into the bathroom that was attached to my room. Then I locked the door and sat in front of it to keep it shut until I found a solution.

I could hear glass shattering all over the floor of the family room. I felt like crying, but I needed to stay calm. I needed to focus and find a way out of the mess I was in. I then reassured myself that the door to my bedroom was locked and it would give me time to think of some sort of plan. There was a window above the toilet and it had just enough room for me to squeeze through and get out.

I heard a loud thud, it must have been him banging on the walls or walking up the stairs, because it happened every 6 seconds. The closer he was the louder the bang. He finally spoke. I could hear the faintest singing "Come out, come out, wherever you are, I just want to play."

I started to hyperventilate. Tears were running down my eyes. I thought to myself, am I gonna die here?

My dad and mom were going to get food from the store, god I wish they took me with them, but all I could do was hope that they would come back for me soon and I would be saved. When I finally returned to my senses I started to think of a plan. I could probably use something in the bathroom to hold the door shut if he managed to break through or unlock my bedroom door. Then I would step on the toilet and climb out from the window. Although I was on the second floor, there was a tree outside of the window. I could possibly climb onto the tree and climb down it and call for help. I reached for my pocket where my phone usually was, to find nothing but a piece of gum. Fuck I thought, of all the times I misplace my phone now was not a good time. God I have to worst luck.

At that time the noises were getting closer. I could hear jiggling on the doorknob to my room. I quietly got up and looked for something to block the door. I found a broom (my bathroom was also used to store cleaning supplies at the time) so I propped it up against the door and made sure that it was secure. Then I walked over to the toilet and grabbed onto the windowsill, then I stepped onto the toilet. I opened the window and I regretted that instantly. There was a screeching sound that came from the window, it must have rusted because I never opened that window. I heard my bedroom door being kicked down with a thud followed by a boom. I quickly slid my lower half through the window. My feet landed on a thick tree branch and I slid the rest of my body through the window. I grabbed onto the closest branch and started my way down the tree. My foot slipped and the tree branch cracked. I fell down with a thunk. It hurt, but when I got up, my right foot had a sharp pain in it. I tried to get up but my foot would not let me. Every time I tried it hurt even more.

I heard him break through the door of the bathroom. I started to panic. I needed to find a way to get my foot to move. I shimmied my way over to the tree and used it to help me up without putting pressure on my foot. I felt like something was watching me, and when I looked up at the bathroom window I saw him. His eyes were staring at me. It was like he could see through my soul. His eyes were silver, and they were so beautiful. They drew me in, but I quickly regained my thoughts. I tried to put some pressure on my foot, but it hurt too much. So I decided I would hop over to my neighbor's house and ask them to let me in.

As I hopped over to their house I did not dare to look back, although I wanted to, I resisted the urge. I had to keep my eyes on the house, I needed to get there to be safe. I was almost there!

I felt something cover my mouth. It was a cloth with something in it, after that I passed out and I don't know who or what took me. I was silent, and then I was no longer aware of my surroundings.

When I woke up I saw a ceiling that was different from mine. It had wood planks all around, and picture frames of men and women from the 1800s. I looked around and saw that my hands were tied together. I tried to break free, but it was no use. Where was I? Who brought me here? Why did they bring me here? But I knew that these questions were not going to be answered.

I was alone in a room. I tried to figure out where I was. I looked around and saw something I did not notice before. It was a window. I tried to get up and I felt a sharp pain. I forgot that I hurt my foot before. Then I remembered what happened before I was brought here. I was horrified and started to panic. I could not use my hands or feet. I was stuck here, I was a sitting duck. A million thoughts ran through my head. I started to cry, I felt cold. Then I felt like the floor was moving. And this startled me. How in the hell can a floor move? Then I put everything together, I was on a boat. But to me it looked like a pirate boat from one of those movies you would watch as a child. Then I thought to myself, I mean there is no way pirates actually exist. And why would they take me of all people? I don't have lots of money, and I don't have anything special about me, why me?

As I thought that, I did not notice that the door opened and someone walked into the room. I looked up terrified. It was him, the teenager that broke into my house. Seeing him sent shivers down my spine and I felt like throwing up, although that could also be because I was on a boat.

I then used all of my strength and swallowed my fear and asked in a very unsure tone, "W-who are you and w-what do you want?"

"Who am I," he responded, "don't you remember me Chizumi?"

I responded in fear "H-how do you know my name?"

"I can't tell you, it will ruin all the fun." He responded.

"C-can you at least tell me your name?" I asked.

"My name?" He questioned.

"Yes" I answered confused "you do have a name right?"

"My name is Akito, but you can call me Aki." He said with a smile.

"A-akito, how do you know me and what do you want from me?"

"If I tell you, it will ruin the fun, and don't you want this to be fun." Aki chuckled. "Now just relax no harm will come to you while you are in my hands, so there is no reason to be scared. And please call me Aki"

"B-but you broke into my house, and God only knows what you were trying to do to me, so how can I not be scared?" I questioned.

"Just know that I'm the one who wants to protect you here, not him." Aki said.

"Who are you talking about?" I asked in fear and curiosity.

"You will find out soon enough. For now just be a good girl, okay."

I could not help but blush, then I said "fine."

Akito smiled and said "Very good, I'll be back later."

As I sat there, I surprisingly waited obediently. I tried to get up to go and look out the window and I stood up for about one second, but my ankle twisted and I fell down. There was a loud thump. I was scared he would come back and get mad.

But to my surprise he rushed in and asked caringly, "Are you okay?"

I was in shock. Why would he come back to the room just to see if I was okay? I know he doesn't care about me, we just met, so why did he rush in so fast? Could it be that he needs me alive to do something unthinkable to me? Then a random thought popped into my head, what if he wants to sell me into the sex trade? I need to escape somehow, and soon.

He must have seen the fear in my eyes because he came over and hugged me, I was shocked. As he hugged me, he sighed, "I've missed you Chizumi, please don't leave me again."

I was so confused, leave him where? When did I leave him? How did he know me, and where have I seen him before? Is there something that I am forgetting that led to this day?

I felt the warmth of his body against mine and I felt very calm. I started to feel tired. Akito noticed this and leaned my head on his shoulder so I would not fall over. And he kissed my forehead and said, "I hope you remember me soon, it would hurt me so much if you forgot me.

When I woke up, I was in a bed and my hands were untied. But I felt something warm around me. I turned around to find Akito sleeping beside me. I tried to push my way out but I woke him up and he said, "Relax, nothing happened after you fell asleep, I just brought you to my room so you would have a good night's sleep."

I did not know whether to believe him or not, but I had a feeling he was telling the truth, plus I did not feel sore all over. He pulled me in and put his hands over my eyes. I blushed and giggled "What are you doing?"

And then he kissed me. I did not know what to do or how to feel, he stole my first kiss. He then said, "That was your reward for not trying to run away yesterday."

I started to shiver as I remembered why I was here and I turned my face away from Akito. In the corner of my eyes I saw his hands reach out to me. He put his hand on my face and said, "I would never hurt you, or let anyone else hurt you, you are very special to me, and I could not bear to see you hurt."

I did not know what to think, he was my kidnapper after all, but he did not seem like he had any ill intentions towards me. But I decided to stay cautious anyways. After all he broke into my house, and I thought he was gonna kill me.

"Why am I here?" I asked.

"You are here because I wanted to see you, and I want you to remember me and all the fun times we had together as children." Said Akito.

"But how can I remember if I don't have any idea of who you are?" I asked.

"Well I'll give you some clues as we get to know each other from the beginning again." Akito replied.

"Okay." I said.
