1 Chapter 1:Gideon

Gideon was being evaluated by his father, Acin, he was fighting his father with the intent to hurt the old man, who despite his old age beat him so many times.

Gideon lowered his body and attempted to sweep his father off his feet with the swinging force of his legs.

His father, Acin only lightly jumped in the air and threw a strong punch into the air. This punch was far from ordinary, the simple jumping punch was able to send a strong gust of wind into the face of Gideon.

The sudden change of oxygen in the air disrupted the flow of Gideon's breathing and distracted him for a millisecond.

His father, who had landed on the ground, threw out a front kick into the chest of his son, who was now on his own feet.

The kick was extremely fast, so fast in fact only Gideon and his father could dodge it without being hit.

Gideon dodged the right side of the fast kick that broke human limits and turned his body one hundred and eighty degrees around before launched a elbow near the hip of his old man.

Acin only smiled as the elbow hit him, in his eyes it was like watching a sloth move at its slowest speed. He skid backwards across the ground then slightly titled his neck to dodge the incoming punch from his son.

Gideon didn't dare to give him a moments rest and swung out his right fist towards the side of the body of Acin.

Acin didn't dodge and just sucked in his stomach to narrowly avoid the punch, that could even send a trained soldier away like a sports ball.

Acin rotated his body around to dodge the third punch then released a kick towards Gideon's skull. Gideon leaned his head backwards and threw a single foot towards the sky and to the face of his father. Gideon used his in human like leg strength, flexible body, and balance to achieve the feat of putting his weight on a single leg.

Acin swatted the foot away like a fly, however soon after, a different leg was sent into his face also. Acin nodded in satisfaction as the sole of the shoe collided with his wrinkly face. Gideon had used the leg that was holding all his weight to jump into the air to release a different kick.

Both of Gideon's feet were no longer in contact with the surface of the earth.

Acin head went backwards, the force of the kick pushed his entire head back. Gideon however didn't stop his attack.

He grabbed his fathers arms and pulled his legs back before releasing them both into the face of Acin. His stomach was crying in pain because of this inhuman move. Acin dropped hid body into a squatting position and the feet flew over his head. He repositioned his body and allowed the shoes of his sin to hang off of his shoulder.

Acin grabbed the legs of Gideon and picked him up then jumped before slamming him towards the ground.

Gideon inwardly knew if he couldn't stop or reduce the impact of this attack, he would be at the mercy of his father.

He flexed his neck and torso muscles and used a breathing technique he saw in a anime. He gathered a large amount of oxygen in his lungs and prepared to crash into the chest of the earth.

It felt like he was inching towards death as he got closer everything around him seemed to go in slow motion as his own mind raced.

When he finally collided with the ground and most of the oxygen he built up in his lungs was released in a instant. His flexed back and neck hurt a lot, he didn't want to image what it would feel like if he lacked prep time during his fall.

He was now on the ground but his father didn't stop. He threw out a palm into the stomach of his son.

His son barely dodged the strike despite being hurt and threw himself to the side to avoid it, then he grabbed dirt and swung it into the eyes of his father.

His father had expected this but decided to allow him to do it to witness what he would do after, before he ended the test. His son could have passed after giving him a city level grade but his son ended up showing him a continental grade.

He nodded as dirt covered his face.

Gideon turn his body completely around and used his arm strength to raise his entire body. Gideon threw his legs backwards and hit the strong old man, it slighty moved him, which was enough for Gideon to roll away from the threat.

His father nodded and said

"You pass, but don't get confident. I allowed you to hit me sometimes because I wanted to see what you would do. Overall you did great in my eyes, good job Gideon" Gideon's old man said as he patted him own the back while giving him his thoughts.

He continued and said

"I believe you are ready to go to that place and get something for me. I personally couldn't get it but I believe you can, you hold more potential that than my father, Adam."

Gideon's eyes widened

"You couldn't get it?"

"Yeah, that's what I said"

"Now I'm supposed to get it?"

"Oh, you seem to be understanding it now"

Gideon looked at his father with a dumbfounded expression and said

"I really can't understand why you are sending me rather than going yourself. You are stronger and faster than me, I think you can get whatever you are looking for if you kept on trying."

" I could but that would be boring, I would rather you have a nice adventure and meet people while I sit at home and farm while looking for any single mom's in the area. The man said as he looked his son in the eyes with a expression that carried no lies.

"The last reason is most definitely is the real reason!"

The old man shrugged his shoulders and evilly laughed

"Mohahahaha, so what if is"

Gideon only sighed at his father's personality and began to ask questions relating to what he needed to get. Even if he acted like that he would never refuse a easy request of his father, after all he had done for him.
