1 The Phoenix and The Dragon

Once long ago, the phoenix and the dragon were comrades who lived in peace and harmony.

The phoenix that symbolizes the sun became the ruler of the lands. The dragon that represents the moon became the ruler of the waters.

The two overcame their differences and maintained balance like the yin and yang.

But one day, their peace turned sour because of mistrust and communication between them being guardians.

Every year when a human child is born, he or she receives a blessing from the deity they worship on their respected sides.

The child that the deity gifts him or she is a guardian, or to be more precise, an imaginary friend, to supervise and guide him or her from birth to childhood into his or her teens and adulthood.

When the war between the phoenix and the dragon began to spar, the sky lit up into the darkness, bringing heavy rainfalls and thunders, angering the heavens.

As if it's giving them a warning, the two agreed to split their clans apart.

Up until this very day, the two never intertwined with each other ever again.
