5 Timeskip and Friend

[ 4 years later ] [ Ao's POV ]

Merging with a person's memories comes at a cost. While I stopped being a kid mentally, I can't seem to perfectly control my emotions.

The first 2 years were kind of hectic as mom always pointed out that I sounded more mature and childish at the same time - whatever that means. I was having a hard time managing two different personalities.

Though the memories didn't affect my mood or my ego, it gave me a personality which mixed with my current one.

But after 2 more years, that problem was solved. I have somewhat proper control of my emotions like in that last moment of my previous life.

I am also having fun with my new family. They are supportive and kind to me. My brothers and sister are also very supportive of me and we love each other without any hidden intentions.

Unlike that piece of shit called John, Shoto is my true brother.

Though Toya is also caring and all, recently due to my quirk being superior to his, he has become distanced from us. Hell even Shoto has a stronger control over his quirk than Toya who has practiced with his quirk for more years than us.

I know this is a temporary thing but it still hurts to see him sad. In this area I'm still too weak to do anything.

Practice with grandma has been a journey that even the military couldn't beat. She is very strict and the only times I had seen her smile with satisfaction was when I froze the entire pond surface a year ago.

My powers have come a long way. I have experienced exponential growth which is getting slower day by day. Initially my temperature could grow roughly by 10 degrees a week but later it lowered to 10 a month. But it is still a powerful growth.

Grandma said that it's normal for this type of slow growth since everyone in our family excluding grandma Hina has experienced it.

But I am having lots of fun so no problem there. The only thing we lack now are more friends. We live in a rather rich community with sons and daughters of rich politicians and businessmen or businesswomen so the arrogance is written everywhere on those idiots' faces.

Some kids have a powerful quirk that they use to bully other kids and treat them like servants. They didn't try that with us since our father and grandparents are powerful heroes, so they have to think twice before doing so.

Though we did meet one person that both me and Shoto liked to talk to. Her name is Yaoyorozu Momo. We only meet at parties, which is once a year for charity purposes, so we are not that close. I mean Shoto runs from girls for some reason and Momo doesn't socialize with children her age. I was not sure why for both cases.

I have talked to Momo this last party we went to and we kind of hit it off. She is a cute little princess and after talking to her, I found out why she avoids children our age.

[Annual Yaoyorozu Corp. Charity Program]

"Hey, your name is Yaoyorozu Momo, right?" I asked Momo. She looked visibly concerned as she looked around for someone. After a second or two she sighed in relief and said "Yes, that's me.".

"I'm Todoroki Ao, Endeavor's son." I introduced myself.

"Hello, Todoroki-san. Are you here with Endeavor-san?"

"Yes, I came with my grandma and dad. I come every year since dad insists on it. Also please call me Ao." I said with a charming smile. Yes, I'm trying to impress.

"I have seen you before Ao-san, your eyemask stands out afterall." She said with curiosity.

While I was talking to this cute little fairy, a man with tall built, handsome face and dangerous eyes came behind Momo. Looking at his eyes I was thinking that he was someone who wanted to kill me but I know that is not true.

This guy is his generation's smartest non-hero, Yaoyorozu Kenji. He is the founder of one of Japan's most powerful companies and a man chased by beautiful girls and women alike.

With a pair of eyes that looked ready to spit fire he said in a deep voice, "What do you want from my daughter? Even if you are Endeavor's child I won't show mercy to anyone for talking to my princess carelessly, boy."

'Wow, what's up with this guy', I thought.

Normal children our age would be frightened but I just pushed my eye mash up with my thumb and looked into his eyes like looking at an idiot.

One thing about my eyes is that they changed color. Previously gray eyes changed to match the original Satoru, so yeah lazy writing.

Anyways, my eyes are very attractive which caused Momo to stare at them, along with everyone whose attention this man caught.

I just smiled and covered them again. I just wanted to look at him with my own eyes. Even though I can make out images it's not very clear.

After a second or two of awkward silence which was broken by my very own, disturbingly beautiful for her age, grandma. She walked up from behind me and said with a voice that scares the crap out of my dad, "Ho, let's see if you will have your pretty face left after you touch my grandson, Kenji boy."

Mr. Yaoyorozu visibly flinched after hearing my grandma's open threat. Seems like they had history.

"Oh my, Mrs. Todoroki, I'm sorry for my husband's words. I'm sure he didn't mean any harm." A very sweet voice came from our side. I looked over to see a very mature version of Momo. She is Momo's mother, Yaoyorozu Aiya. one of the two people behind Yaoyorozu Corporation's success.

Seeing her, my grandma relaxed her flickering hand. She really is scary when offended, but I love how she gets angry for me.

"My my, as beautiful as ever Aiya-chan. Since you say so I'll let this one slide." Grandma said with a smile.

After that little drama, they introduced each other to me and Momo. Still as I was talking with Momo, her dad was looking at me like I was going to kill his family. He has a serious case of daughter-complex.

I didn't get to mingle with Momo for long as her dad took her with him with some obvious excuse and left us with his wife. I talked to her and she was very sweet to talk to, unlike her husband. Geez, I'm starting to hate that guy quite fast.

--

So yeah her father has a serious problem with boys her age. I mean come on, we are 8 years old. Not like I'm going to boink her… Yet.

Anyways, me and Momo still talk once in a while over social media but that's about it. I don't particularly need friends but Shoto definitely does. Hanging around me and Toya is not very healthy for his social life. I'll talk to grandma about this tomorrow.

--

"Grandma, should we let Shoto go to school or something. Everyone goes to one, even Toya-nii-san does with Fuyuki-nee-san." I brought the topic to her and she looked at me.

"Do you want to go too, Ao-chan?" She asked with a look in her eyes. It's common knowledge that I fight with other kinds for bullies and what not so she was confused with me asking her such a question.

"Nop, not really. I find those kids stupid. But Shoto doesn't, so I was thinking of sending him to preschool or something." I seriously don't know Japan's education structure so I just said it.

She started thinking for a second and said, "That's a good idea. Though I will have to talk with Enji. Rei should accept it anyway."

After hours of training with her I went to my room and played some games with Shoto like always.

Our days continued at the same pace. We followed the same routine with the only difference being that Shoto goes to school while I train with grandma.
