97 Returning to Doha
After returning to the cave, Yinxin confirmed that she still wanted to contract with Jayde.
Although Jayde wasn't happy that the only way she could bring Yinxin back to Doha was by contracting with her, nevertheless she was overjoyed that she would still be able to keep the silver dragons with her.
With Yinxin firm assurance that this is what she wanted, Jayde agreed to initiate the contract.
Even though Jayde had done this before, she was still nervous, taking her blade out Jayde sliced open her left palm, while Yinxin used her talon her open up a gash on her chest.
Walking over Jayde place her bloody palm against the gash on Yinxin chest and then Jayde voice her sworn vow.
"With my blood I tie thee to me, I swear to protect and honor thee, thy will is thy own"
This time the strange glyph glowed silver beneath her feet, a similar glyph glowed beneath Yinxin.
Both glyphs floated up in the air, then met and combined in a flash of silver light, then slowly the new glyph split into two, one flowed down to Yinxin forehead, the glyph glowed bright and embedded itself in the middle, the other flowed to Jayde forehead and did the same.
Again the strange black runes on Jayde face appeared shocking Yinxin, but unlike before with Reiko, a blinding silver light spread out from Jayde body, encasing Yinxin and herself.
Jayde felt a strong power invade her body, and then some strange force that was extremely powerful, wild and violent rose within her body, straining against the confines of the barrier of the seal within her dantian.
Jayde's entire body felt as if it were on fire. Agony stabbed at every inch of her being. White hot pain blackened her vision, Jayde felt as though the very ground beneath her feet was shaking.
Tremendous pressure built up within her straining her senses, the relentless pain beating at her was almost beyond her capacity to bear.
Suddenly something snapped within her, and pure unadulterated power filled her being. Pure magical power streamed around her, surrounding her, lifting her off her feet. Hovering in the air, her long, black hair blew back away from her face on an unnatural magical wind and her amber eyes blazed, glowing brightly, behind her huge wings of pure fire were displayed in all their glory.
Unaware of what was happening, Jayde had her arms flared out as the magic poured into her, she started to breakthrough at an astounding rate.
Reiko and Yinxin started at the miniature goddess blazing in a nimbus of pure Qi, at that moment Jayde was pure magic, glorious, endless and deadly.
Finally, the bright silver light flared out, then shot up, out of the cavern, piercing the night sky. For a brief moment, the sky lit up as bright as day, before the light disappeared into the heavens.
Once the silver light disappeared, Jayde fell to the ground. Jayde appearance had once again undergone drastic changes, her skin glowed more, and streaks of red now ran through her black hair. Her pupils were slightly elongated, and her amber eyes had deepened to a more golden color. The bone structure on her dainty face was more defined, and every imperfection on her skin had disappeared, even the smattering of tiny freckles she once had on her nose.
Groggy and confused she asked Reiko and Yinxin wad happened. Reiko wasn't quite sure and turned to Yinxin for some sort of explanation.
While Yinxin had a suspicion of what Jayde was, she decided to keep her own counsel, for now, it wouldn't do Jayde any good to know too much — not now.
[Our contract released the second layer of your seal, which caused a huge influx of Qi, allowing you to break through numerous levels] Yinxin explained briefly.
Jayde's eyes widen in shock, she had never imagined that contracting with Yinxin would have unlocked her second layer.
Taking a couple of minutes to digest this incredible news, Jayde then checked her dantian out to see just how unstable it was. She really didn't want to spend another year with Green having to stabilize it again.
Jayde was blown away, she had advanced nine levels and was now Knight of the 11th Class, and at the peak of 11th class just a breath away from advancing to 12th class. The most amazing part was that she couldn't pick up any instability in her foundation, whatever had happened didn't seem to have had any adverse effects on her.
Quickly weaving a fireball to see just how powerful her magic was now that she had risen in rank, she nearly singed Reiko's fur, as the fireball she weaved was nearly 50 times bigger than was she was expecting.
Quickly dismantled her spell, she apologized to a startled Reiko. Looks like she was going to have to spend time practicing her magic again, Jayde thought.
When Jayde weaved her spell, Yinxin picked up a familiar feel Jayde magic, that hadn't been there before.
[If I am not mistaken you have gained a new element affinity] Yinxin announced.
"Really?" Jayde asked grinning.
[Hmm, earth I would say, which would explain why our contract unsealed your second layer, as Silver dragons are one of the strongest earth elemental mages, and your second seal must have been sealed with the earth element] Yinxin concluded.
Knowing that Isha would be able to confirm when they returned Jayde didn't worry it too much about it, Jayde asked Yinxin if she was ready to return to Doha, with Yinxin confirmation Jayde summoned both Reiko and Yinxin into her pet space.
Relieved to see the wyrmlings disappeared with their mother, Jayde confirmed with Yinxin that everything was alright. Receiving her confirmation, Jayde removed the black slip that had turned white over two months ago and broke it.
A blinding white light surrounded Jayde, and mission control's female disembodied voice echoed in her mind.
[Transfer to Doha activated]
Jayde felt the same strange tingling, itchy feeling all over her skin, then the world in front of her went black, and she felt the weird suction and the world around her spinning.

Many of the villagers in Tardide saw the bright light in the night sky, awed and filled with fear they stood as silent witnesses this strange sight. Many later swore they saw a dragon, while others said it was a giant flaming bird.

After Jayde returned to Doha, life carried on normally for the villagers of Tardide.
The wealth of Tardide that Jayde had helped the villagers of Tardide accumulate not only benefited the villagers but also the surrounding cities as the villagers with money to burn, ordered new furniture and clothes, and luxury goods that they had always dreamed of. New shops sprung up in Tardide as some villagers opened up restaurants and stores to cater to the ever increasing demand of their neighbors.
Many of the war veterans returned to Oldstrand to find wives and returned to Tardide starting their own families and even adopting orphans from the surrounding cities.
Tardide grew from a tiny village to a sprawling city. The young orphan mages under Master Rainer tutelage became powerful mages who defended Tardide and followed his teaching of only using their power to benefit the people of Telia.
Tardide with its vast wealth built up an army to defend itself, and when the warlords tried to invade the city to pillage their wealth, they were soon defeated, and with the downfall of the warlords, peace started to reign in the Eastern Kingdom, bringing even more wealth and prosperity.
Jayde's creation had spurred a fervent desire for growth and innovations, with many of the young mages leading the charge. Within a couple of decades, the people of Telia had combined their magic with technology and birthed a new class of magic — the Technomage.
Within a couple of hundred years Telia was a planet of peace and prosperity, and with the teachings left behind by Jayde, they lived in harmony with their world, always aware of the delicate balance between technology and their environment.
Jayde's influence was felt for generations, and her story would spread throughout Telia, growing in the telling, becoming a beacon of hope and a role model to millions of children. Many years after she disappeared stories abound that she had been one of the gods who unhappy with her people had descended from the heavens to led them from their barbaric past.
Many took the silver light that had appeared in the sky the night Jayde disappeared as a sign of her returning the heavens.
Tardide became a holy city that people made pilgrimages too to pay their respect, her teachings were required reading, and the forest that Jayde had spent three months living in was declared a holy site and was protected by all the people of Telia.
The Ebonywolves of Telia became revered as the companion of the gods, and it was outlawed to hunt or harm them. Contracting an Ebonywolf became a symbol of a Technomages' dedication to the following of the doctrine of peace and goodwill.
