Chloe, and Isaac, the man who has become the most important in her life, are powerless in the hands of a sadistic devil. Are they going to survive? She has to fight to try and save them in time and discovers sinister forces are secretly threatening her family. She is not sure of the full extent of the danger and desperately finds the help of Hunter, a private investigator, that had a special bond with her father. Meanwhile, she fails to make sense of the escalating disturbing phenomena in her haunted house in the woods and starts to bond with her new neighbour, Isaac. It reads like a mixture of a thrilling detective story with supernatural turns and a psychological thriller all in one with endless surprises and clues for the clever reader.
