7 STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

The day ended rather quickly after that and the students started dispersing. Lana told Jess and Jeremy that she will first go home and talk about it with her mother. After her mother's approval, she will meet them in Mrs. Choi's coffee shop.

Lana quickly ran home and barged in. She was greeted by her mother's smiling face. "Hey mom! I am back." Lana said in her cheerful as always voice. "Welcome back baby! How was your day?" Her mom asked while hugging her. Lana then told her mom about her day, including her encounter with Jer and the way she conducted herself in front of Liam. Her mom was proud of her way of conduct but was still worried of the consequences. Still, it did not stop Lana's mom to go out of the way to help her daughter's friend. Lana and her mom had suffered a lot in life but they still somehow managed to stay humble, approachable, friendly, helpful and optimistic. Lana's mom permitted her to work part time to help her friend and also gave all her savings to Lana, which in total was $10000. Lana hugged her mom and then went to her room to change her uniform.

She took a quick shower and wore a beautiful, white and colourful dress with round neckline and full arms. It covered her legs till her ankle. The only body parts visible were her hands, face and feet. She was all covered like a pearl. Lana did not like wearing girly clothes but she had to wear a dress today as she had an interview immediately after their small meeting.

She went into the coffee shop and was greeted by Mrs. Choi as well as the customers. The customers were mostly the people living in her locality and they all knew her really well. Jess and Jer waved over to Lana. Lana went to their table and immediately after, her red velvet cake and cappuccino arrived. Jess and Jer were shocked to see this special treatment but understood that Lana was like family to everyone who knew her.

Lana took the money out from her purse and handed it over to Jeremy. "Take this money and return it to Liam. The remaining $15000 will be arranged before our first assessment. Don't worry." Lana said while sipping her coffee.

Jeremy accepted the money but he was feeling guilty for accepting money such shamelessly. Lana noticed his guilt and patted his shoulders to comfort him. She softly spoke, "Don't worry Jer, everything will be alright and you don't have to repay me. Just promise me that you will take me to meet your mom after she is well." Jeremy slowly nodded, his eyes glistening with tears.

After some chit-chatting and laughing, Lana bid her farewell and walked out to the place where she was supposed to give her interview. The interview was long and exhausting but Lana was satisfied as she got selected at last. By the time she came out of the building, it was already 8:00 pm. She called her mom and informed her that the interview lasted longer than expected but she got selected at last. She also told her mom that she is heading home now so it may take her half an hour to reach home.

Then, she started walking back. The night was dark and clear. Lana could clearly see the stars in the sky that were shimmering with different intensities. The cool wind was blowing which scattered her silky, curly hairs all over her face. Her white dress was making her look like an angel who had accidentally fallen from the heaven in the middle of a young night.

Seeing her was enough for any man to get drunk and lose his same mind and senses. She was the perfect incarnation of a deity. Pure and untouched, who could be destroyed by a single touch. Little did other people know that behind this delicate body lied a girl who was strong and young as the Himalayas.

She was walking with not even a single soul around her, peacefully enjoying her night. Not even a single sound could be heard in the entire lane except for Lana's soft breath. She suddenly heard some shuffling sounds from behind her and immediately, her instincts clicked in. She turned and saw two men following her. When they saw her turning, they started whistling, hooting and calling her. Unlike any other girl who would get afraid and start running, Lana stopped right there and had a smirk plastered on her lips.

Liam and Jasper happened to be passing by the same lane and saw Lana. They also noticed the two men following her. Jasper proposed to help but Liam wanted to see how Lana would react in such a situation. They both followed at a safe distance and hid themselves behind a shutter to see what would happen next. Lana was standing calmly as the two men approached her. When one of the men tried to touch her, the dunk just in time and picked up an iron rod which was lying on the ground. Then she started in her full Acton and beat both the men to pulp. Being satisfied with the condition of both men, Lana stood high as ever and said, "Not every girl you see is a sex toy. Learn to respect girls. If I wanted, I could leave you to die here but then what is the the difference between you and me. What if the girl in my place was your sister or mother or daughter? Would you want them to be raped? Learn to respect and protect every girl you see. I am not leaving you to die because guilt is stronger than love and revenge." With that, Lana called an ambulance and left from there.

Liam and Jasper were dumbfounded and starstruck by Lana's this side. They both were chilled to the bones and none of them could utter a single word. After a good number of minutes, they both came out of shock and went back to their own homes.

Lana, on the other hand, came home and informed her mom about today's incident. Lana's mom was proud of her and gave her uncountable hugs and pecks. Lana went to her room and freshened up while her mom placed dinner on the table. After wearing cute pjs, Lana came out of her room and went to have dinner with her mom. They both chit-chatted for a while on various topics and also discussed some important financial matters as all their savings had been given to Jer. After talking for almost an hour, Lana went inside her room and finished her homework.

By the time she was done, it was already 3 in the morning. Lana quietly got up and stared out of the window. Unconsciously, tears started rolling from her eyes and her emotions overpowered her. She quietly sobbed and whispered, " I miss you baby.....please come back....it's been so long....I love you....please come back....I cannot handle myself anymore.....I need you love....I miss you soooooo much....my BABY BROTHER."
