3 The Famous Boss Jiang Helped Her Out?

Although she was Bailu's relative, she went to greet Bruce first. Finally, she reluctantly looked at her cousin, Bailu, and said in a strange tone, "I really don't know how many lifetimes you've been blessed with, to have such a handsome and rich man that is willing to marry you."

"This is my engagement party, please show some respect."

Bailu's heart was filled with disgust towards her cousin who came uninvited.

After seeing that she would not budge, Anna pitifully said, "Brother Bruce, are you really sure that you want to marry her? A woman like her... do you really even understand?"

Bailu's heart thumped. What made things worse was that Bruce still chased after Anna and asked, "What do you mean?"

Anna became excited and said, "I don't want Brother Bruce to marry a woman who will bring shame to the family. Her mother is a drug addict, and she might have inherited bad genes. Her father is a gambler, and if he doesn't have money, he will definitely pester you!"

Anna's words made Bruce's face turn pale. The ones who reacted the most were Bruce's parents.

Her words finally succeeded in stirring up the water. She had caught Madam Bruce's attention. Madam Bruce walked over and said, "What? Bruce, you didn't tell me that your fiancée would have such an unbearable family!"

"Please, believe me, I do not have any bad habits!" 

Bailu hurriedly explained. She could not refute and could only try to repeatedly guarantee her innocence.

The other guests glanced at her. Anna smiled proudly after seeing that the engagement party was coming to an end. 

"Cousin, don't even think about becoming a phoenix and implicate other people's families!"

She held her head high like a proud princess, but as the bride, she was still in a sorry state. The hatred in her heart was born.

If Anna's family had not cheated her father of his assets, her mother would not have gone to the point of no return because of pain. Her mother remarried and entered a new hell.

How could Anna still have the face to destroy her happiness?

Bailu's face was pale as she looked at Madam Bruce, who was closing in on her step by step. "How can a woman like you enter our family? This engagement party is a joke. Your engagement ends here."

Before she could finish her sentence, a voice came from the crowd. 

"Jiang Shaomin! Jiang Shaomin is here!"

Madam Bruce's expression changed. She put on a fake smile and went to welcome the distinguished guest.

The man at the door stood against the light. The golden color on his body was as dazzling as Apollo.

There was no shortage of handsome faces that appeared in fashion magazines and business newspapers, which made the guests cry out in surprise.

"Isn't that President Jiang?"

"To be able to invite him, he's really prestigious!"

Madam Bruce raised her head proudly. She had spent a lot of effort to invite President Jiang to attend. She wanted to amaze the world and let people know of the power of the Bruce family. Unfortunately, her beloved son was about to marry Bailu. 

She went forward and shook his hand. 

"President Jiang, welcome!"

Jiang Shaomin's eyes did not seem to contain anyone. His gaze slowly fell on Bailu. He then said with certainty, "There seems to be an argument here."

When Anna saw him, her eyes were wide open. How could there be such an elegant and charming man in the world? And the detestable thing was, why was he also looking at Bailu?

Jealousy and the nature of being in the limelight made her explain what had just happened without thinking it through. 

She said, "This woman's parents are all inferior and are tainted with bad habits. She doesn't deserve to marry into the Bruce family!"

Bailu glared at her coldly.

"The fault of the parents has nothing to do with the children. Moreover, she is very talented. I can see that she is not tainted by mud."

How did he know that Bailu was talented? Why would he speak up for her? Even Bailu could not figure it out.

Jiang Shaomin glanced at her indifferently with a faint smile in his eyes. 

"The perfume 'First Love' is not bad."

Obviously, Bailu's work was favored by him.

Anna was so jealous that her eyes turned red. When Jiang Shaomin was invited to the lounge, Anna followed behind him whilst holding a small bottle in her hand.

Such a perfect man, even if it was just a one-night stand with him, it would not be a loss. She was looking forward to a romantic encounter with him, and then she would rightfully pester him!
