CHAPTER TWO 💗

"Ella be quick, we are going to be late" Nelly said as she stood waiting for her friend to get ready for their morning jog. It had become their daily routine on campus. "Nelly chill, it's not as if we are getting ready for lectures" Ella scoffed as her beauty shone.

Ella Nwaeze was well built as a lady she was very fair, tall and a little plump. One could barely see her as a citizen of Nigeria because her skin radiated like the summer haze. Nelly on her own part was the typical opposite of Ella, she was fair but not as Ella, lean and average in height, she was a beauty of her own.

They were both students of the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka.

Nelly was a medical student while Ella was studying Bio-chemistry, they both brainiacs, and they studied really hard together with their genius friend Johnson. Almost all the male students in school wanted to have a relationship with Ella because of her beauty. People often called Nelly and Ella "David and Goliath because of the way they looked together. It came to a time when they both developed romantic feelings for a particular male student named Chuddy, they both ended up competing for him but Nelly finally backed out when she noticed that the guy in question was dying for Ella. Chuddy and Ella ended up dating.

After the days exercise, it was 6.30am already and they both had lectures by 8.00am. They had their bathe and dressed in their skimpy jeans together with a fitted polo, wore their makeup and they both strolled to school as they gossiped in low tones while their laughter echoed across their lodge.

"Oh my God, Nelly I can't believe I'm actually the person waking you for today's jog" Ella said. "Go away Ella, today is Saturday and we are going to jog for a long time so allow me to get my beauty sleep" Nelly said while stretching herself on the bed. "Hell no babe, you are coming with me right now" Ella screamed authoritatively. "Alright give me five more minutes"

Nelly kept on sleeping; she had slept for another ten minutes while Ella was getting ready. "Nelly!" Ella screamed when she noticed that she was still on the bed, Nelly jerked up immediately, the sound pierced through her eardrums. "Give me three more minutes please" Nelly said, "alright, have all the time you want sleeeeeepp well, if you like roll over to the other side of the bed" she said finally. "Thanks babe, you are the best" Nelly said, "you are welcome sweet, just say a grand hello to your little spider friend on the bed spread" before she could finish Nelly had already jumped out of the bed screaming while Ella stood at the corner and laughed at her. Nelly dressed up for the jog and off they went.
