2 Intersecting paths

Both of us graduated almost at the same time. And now was the time when both of us had to take our lives seriously. Since childhood, I had been very fond of Mumbai, so, I had applied in a news company based in Mumbai, for internship. Opposite to my plans, Atharv was looking for a placement in Agra as he never wanted to leave his father. But, the fate had decided something different for him.

I received call letters for interview from two news companies in Mumbai. I was very excited as well as nervous about my future. As soon as I got the call letters I sent my responses to them and started packing to go to Mumbai, the city of dreams.

On the other hand, Atharv was not at all happy with the interviews as he had been offered a job only in Mumbai. He wanted to stay in Agra but situations did not seem to be on his side. He thought that he will not take the job and will do something else in Agra.

One day his father asked him about his departure to Mumbai. That day he told his father that how he could not leave him and Agra. He told him that he would never be able to leave the place where he had lost his mother.

That day his father told him a very important thing.

"Love is the support of a person in all his growth, his bad as well as good times. And if anything stops you from growing it can never truly love you. Love knows no bounds but it can never bind you.

So if you think that you truly love us just don't get bound to us. Live your life, grow, think, develop but don't stop."

With an emotional heart and a big dream Atharv finally came to Mumbai.

I had reached Mumbai a day early to my interview dates and was statying at a hotel in Andheri east.
