Miss Lunox

The only daughter of the royal house of Dawn is rumored to be the most gifted student here. Though she's taking special classes along with the family heirs like Harley, Guinevere, and Odette. Gusion was supposed to be in that class but he transferred to the normal students division.

My knees are actually trembling, I'm so nervous!

"Hey. Ease up. She's nice"

I looked at Gusion and for the first time ever, I saw him smile at me. Not a smirk, a real smile.

"L-Leave me alone. I'm not even asking"

Why the heck did I stutter?!

"So cute"

Gusion murmured but I didn't quite hear since I was busy fuzzinga bout why I stuttered.

"What did you say?" asked me.

"I said salute"

I'm pretty sure that's not what he said. Gusion fixed his clothes and so I did too, before he opened the door and lead me inside.

"Sir Tigreal, it's a pleasure to see you in good shape"

Gusion greeted our Head Teacher in Combat & Agility subjects, Sir Tigreal. He is a legend so my eyes just glistened when I saw him. So cool.

"The best fighter has to be in the best shape Sir Paxley. Miss Lunox is in her office, goodluck Miss Vance. "

I bowed and was still glad when he said my name. We walked to a door which have two sides, I wad about to open the white one when Gusion opened the black one.

"Why black?"

"Cause we want to see her in reality, not in our dreams Les. I'm pretty sure you have heard about her abilities"

Gusion explained and I just nodded. It was a normal room with a table that has tons of papers on it and bookshelves around the whole room.

"Luno—"

"Gusion!"

Someone tackled Gusion from behind. I saw him laughing and even ruffling her hair. This must be Miss Lunox, she's really pretty. And I don't want to see this now. So cringy. Is it?

"I missed you! You haven't been attending classes with us since—"

Gusion covered her mouth and whispered in her ear, Lunox just said "oh". Aren't they the sweetest? Sweet my arse.

"So you're the infamous Lesley Vance. You're actually doing a great job than Harley. He's such a handful, I'm surprised you're not annoyed by him"

"Good day Miss Lunox, and Harley's my brother so as his sister I should just watch over him and that's not true. I'm annoyed but just can't do anything about it haha"

Lunox smiled and walked over to me. She held my hand and let me sit. She closed in her face to mine and asked gleefully.

"So what do you think about Gusion?"

She asked and I think I'm nervous because my heart is hammering inside.

"Lunox!" Gusion widened his eyes and Lunox just giggled.

"With all due respect Miss Lunox—"

"Lunox is fine" she smiled.

"—Lunox, I don't think of Gusion as more than a ranking rival"

I answered and she pouted and looked at Gusion. Of course I did too. For a moment I think he was sad but he quickly smiled. Phew.

"Let's get down to business Lunox. Tell her about it"

Gusion said to Lunox and she nodded.

"Lesley, you have been voted by your brother and two more others as the most capable student here along with Gusion. Our school is in danger. The Rift Dimension has been gaining access to our world and has sent a spy here in our school. I need you two to act on my order and conduct a search on every student here in our academy. It doesn't matter if you want to keep it lowkey"

Lunox explained.

"So he's my partner?"

I asked pointing my thumb at Gusion.

"Yes"

I mentally slapped my forehead. Now he's got more time to annoy me.

"Can you do it for me? For the Academy? Lesley? Gusion?"

We exchanged looks with each other and nodded.

"You can count on me"
