Ms. Romantic Bella

"I don't know what good things I did in the past to deserve someone like you, Alden..." She said as tears fell from her eyes. He immediately wiped them dry with his thumb and caressed her cheek lovingly. She smiled happily despite her tears.

"That's where you are wrong, Dei. You deserve the world and more. You are the sweetest, most selfless person I've ever met. I don't care about the past. I accept you for who you are. No ifs. No buts. I love you so much." He kissed her on the forehead tenderly. She closed her eyes, overwhelmed by the emotions his words and gestures brought forth.

She could not believe that after all the failed relationships and heartaches she endured in the past, she would be blessed to find someone like Alden. She opened her eyes, wound her arms around his neck and stared up at his handsome face as he pulled her closer.

"I love you, too Alden. Only you."

The End.

Maine sighed then immediately saved the file on her laptop with a flourish. She then leaned back on her seat on her favorite spot in her own coffee shop and took the cup of brewed coffee from the table before her to take a sip.

She finally finished her latest story. She will just have to proofread it one more time later that evening after work and she is ready to post it online for her readers. Her readers have been waiting for the epilogue for days already. She sighed once more.

Maine Capili, 23 years old pastry chef and co owner of this small corner cafe called Eternity Cafe. Her parents helped her build this business after her graduation and since then she has been on her own. But there is more to Maine than being a young, successful entrepreneur. She has a secret online alter ego that even her family and colleagues does not know about. She is also a fiction webnovel writer.

"What's with the deep sigh, Ms. Romantic Bella? Affected by your stories again? Or have you already found the perfect boyfriend to make you forget your vow to never fall in love again?" A chirpy voice suddenly spoke from behind her that made her gasp audibly in shock before turning to glare at the only person who knew her secret identity.

"Thanks a lot, best friend for broadcasting to the world my pseudonym!" She hissed at Sheena, her best buddy since college days and business partner in the cafe.

"Relax girl! There are no customers here right now except for that one hunk of a man who is busy with his phone three tables away from us. So your secret identity is still safe." Sheena declared as she took the seat in front of her. Maine stole a glance at the man her friend mentioned but she can't see his face for he is seated with his back to them. She must admit the man indeed has the physique of a model.

"I could just swing from those yummy biceps!" Sheena gushed which made her laugh out loud as she pulled her gaze away from the man.

"You're unbelievable, Sheena! Wait 'till your fiancé hears you say that!" She threatens her friend who just laughed at her words.

"I'm just admiring the view! And at least I have my baby James. Unlike you who easily gave up with only just two attempts at a relationship." Sheena retorted. She raised her perfectly arched brow.

"There is no such thing as forever and happily ever after in this world! They only exist in novels. So you better think a hundred times before you really decide to marry James!" She retorted with a smirk.

"I can really seriously taste the bitterness oozing from your every word, best friend! But trust me. Once your perfect match comes your way and sweeps you off your feet, you will eat all these bitter words and fall in love again!" Sheena smirked back at her.

"Well I won't hold my breath waiting because I know that will never happen. I already learned my lesson the hard way. I won't get fooled the third time."
