129 No Path Of Escape

The bell rang and it signaled the start of lunch at Eastwood University. Abbie opened her lunchbox and started eating. After the initial uproar of her being the fiance of the Crown Prince had passed, Abbie's classmates left her alone.

It wasn't because they were intimidated by Abbie's new standing in society, but due to a change in Abbie's personality. After Alex's death, Abbie became more reserved. She stopped caring about how others perceived her. 

In her classmates eyes, she became less sociable. Only Britney would engage her in a friendly chat as if they were the best of friends. Abbie glanced at her I-Foam from time to time as she ate. 

On the mobile screen of her phone, she could see Alex crouched on the ground. He was holding a hand shovel and Crab Car waited patiently by his side. After becoming an adventurer, Alex had taken simple quests like herb gathering to raise his rank.
