125 First Mission

The wind gently caressed the young boy's face as he looked at the majestic city in the distance. He was currently standing on top of a small hill and taking in the sights and sounds of this familiar yet unfamiliar world.

"Who are we waiting for, Alex?" Abbie asked. "A friend of yours?"

Alex smiled before nodding his head, "You also know her, Master."

"Eh? Is she one of the candidates or perhaps one of the summoned heroes?"

"No."

Today was the first day that Alex had officially joined the quest to hunt for the Holy Grail. Although he was a bit late in entering the world, he seemed to be calm and relaxed. Abbie and Alice, also, noticed this change in Alex's attitude.

Their conclusion was that Alex became more mature after experiencing the fight against the mercenary group. Alice had briefed him on what they had learned about the city of Romania and the surrounding kingdoms.
