Victor stayed for a few hours in Edgar Tower to issue orders and complete the formalities of his proposed nationwide expansion. After work, he walked down the corridor beside Claire with linked arms.

Clive Baron nudged Edward Shannon and pointed towards the duo. "Do you think they are officially dating now? Have they slept together already?"

Edward shrugged. "They look like they have been intimate. And I heard he visited Miss Holt's bedroom several times. But it's hard to say anything with certainty when Mr. Damone is concerned. Women who truly know his power can't keep their hands off him these days."

Clive raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? Have you seen him with other women recently? I'm approaching middle age and can't keep up with the news of his romantic exploits!"
