The XB-999 Valkyrie tore through the skies at Mach-3 speed—over 2000 miles per hour. It was a supersonic bomber, otherwise decommissioned from the military. The aircraft was one of the many overpriced assets of the New World Order.

Krull Island was around five hundred miles from Springfield, but the Valkyrie braved the distance within fifteen minutes.

"Sir, we are about to reach the point above the island," the three-star pilot said over the radio. "Are you ready to drop?"

"I am ready," Victor replied. He was actually lying under the fuselage of the aircraft, inside a hollow bomb weighing half a ton.

Fifteen minutes earlier, when the Valkyrie picked him up from Springfield, the pilot gave him a red pill in a sachet. It was the level-2 activation formulation that would remove specific limiters placed on his body.
