1 1. A Trillion Years Ago

In the City of Infinite Legacy, which is located is on an island separated from the rest of the rest of the world by the Endless Sea, there is a Grand Pagoda in the center of the city. Outside this Pagoda there is a shabby donut hut, manned only by one person. This man running this donut hut, was to say the least out of shape, he was bald with a stomach that bulged out about 3 feet. Now while this large man was not attractive in a physical sense, he was quite popular due to his extraordinary skill in donut flipping. He would not only flip just one or two donuts; no, he would flip hundreds of donuts at the same time all the while looking like he was dancing gracefully.

"Mister Donut!" Yelled a group of kids as they ran up to the donut hut. "Can you please tell us the story of how the city was created?!" asked the kids.

The bald donut fryer pondered for a moment before saying "Sure, why not."

As the fat man began to tell the story he began flipping the donuts and as he flipped reality began to distort, causing every kid to see an illusion of the story.

A trillion years ago.

A lone being covered in a light golden robe, was sitting in what appeared to be empty space. One could say they were sitting amongst the stars. The robed person seemed to be doing nothing when suddenly, they moved and grabbed their head as if something was bothering them.

"I AM SO BORED!!!!" yelled the being. "There are countless worlds with their own entertainment, but I have already experienced everything." The figure sat there thinking how he could relieve his boredom. 'I am the God of All, I should not be having any issues finding something to do.' He thought.

Suddenly, as if an idea popped into the Gods head "I got it!" he exclaimed. Then in an instant he disappeared.

An unknown number of lightyears from where the God disappeared from is Glass Planet. This is one of the younger planets in existence, as it is only about ten trillion years old. This is a world of cultivation. The beings in this world start as mortals and work to become Immortals. This is a difficult process and usually takes longer than most of their lifespans will allow.

In the Void Plains, located on Tempest Continent in Glass Planet, there is a small cultivation sect called Emerald Gem Sect. This sect was a very small and neutral force that only had about a hundred people in it. A young boy is walking towards the tall wooden pagoda in the center of the sect. As soon as he arrived at the door to the pagoda an old man greets the black-haired boy.

"Young Master Orval, what brings you to the main pagoda today?" Asked the white-haired old man.

"Guardian Jack, I have come to speak with my honorable parents about matters regarding the growth of our sect." stated Young Master Orval. "Are they free?" he asked.

"While they are in a meeting with the elders of the sect you naturally can go in and attend to voice your opinions." said the Guardian.

Then the doors to the pagoda opened with a bow and a wave of Guardian Jack. Orval nodded and walked in the pagoda, the doors closing behind him. He walked through the entry room and through the archway to the main hall of the pagoda where several people were sitting and talking.

Sitting in the farthest point from the entry way were a handsome man and beautiful woman. On both sides of the aisle leading to the couple were several old folks. As the Young Master walked into the room the elders on the sides stood up and bowed.

"Son, what has brought you to the main hall today?" Asked the black-haired man in the throne.

"Father, Mother, or I should say Sect Leader and Vice Sect Leader, since this is official sect business that I have come to discuss. As you know last month, I turned 15 and as such I should be carrying my weight to help grow our sect." stated Orval.

One of the Elders on the side then stated, "Well if the young genius of our sect wishes to assist in the affairs of the sect what do you have in mind?"

Orval smiled "As you know our sect is one of the lowest ranked sects in the world. Our most powerful people are currently in this room. The highest cultivation realm we have is Grandfather Jude at Golden Core Realm. If we want to gain a foot hold and grow, we will need to have at least a power of a Nascent Soul Realm, only then can we compete with the larger sects on the continent."

"Hmmm, this is true, but we don't have the resources to compete with those larger sects. How do you presume we accomplish this goal?" asked the female elder on the side.

"As you know I have been cultivating since I was 6 years old. At 7 I had already broken through the Foundation Establishment Realm and stepped into Qi Manifestation Realm. At age 9 I broke through both the Core Establishment Realm and the Core Manifestation Realm to fully condense a Golden Core like Grandfather." Spoke Orval. He paused before continuing, "Over the past six years I have created a method that will allow everyone who practices it to be able to achieve their maximum potential."

Orval then pulled out a jet-black book. There was no writing on the cover or binding. Suddenly, he through the book into the middle of the hall, before it could hit the ground it began to glow a bright golden light and hovered up about 4 feet of the ground. The book then opened, again there was no markings or writing on the pages.

"What is this?" asked the Sect Leader.

"This is an artifact I created. It's called the Infinite Legacy Scripture. All one needs to do is hold it and they can begin practicing the best Scripture to help them reach their potential. Give it a try." Stated Orval.

All the elder looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, the Sect Leader stood and moved towards the floating book. He placed his hands on the book and sent some qi into it. The book began to glow, and then gold writing floated into the air.

After seeing the information appearing around the book suddenly a large amount of information started to pour into Luke's head about the Infinite Sword Law.

With a serious look he asked "Orval, how does this artifact work exactly?"

"It is a growth type. Depending on the level of the main contractor, it will grow accordingly. Right now, I am the main contractor and have full control over it. In the future I plan to allow this to be the Artifact of our Sect and will be controlled by the Sect Masters in the future." Orval said "This little show is but a drop in the bucket for what it can really do. As the name suggests, there are and infinite number of options."

Luke thought for a moment before saying "Alright, all of us in this room will connect with the book first. Then we will all go into seclusion. While we are away Orval you will oversee the sect. You can do as you see fit to help grow our sect."

"As you wish Father" said Orval with a bow.

In the next following moments, the Elders took turns connecting with the book. The results were close to what Orval was expecting. Was elder specialized in Arrays, one specialized in alchemy, one specialized in beast taming, and one specialized in talismans. While their overall talent was not high, they were high enough to help grow the sect. What really surprised him was his mother's information.

Frankly, her talent is the best he has seen since his own. After thinking about this for a moment he decided to start on the next phase of the plan. He called for several disciples to remove all items from the pagoda. After all items were removed from the pagoda and all the people were cleared of the surroundings he stood in front of the structure.

"Young Master what is it you plan to do after emptying the Sect Pagoda?" asked Jack with a concerned look.

"You will see" said Orval with a smile on his face.
