The Path of the Genius Mage

In the year 2041, the whole Solar System was unsealed from the rest of the universe allowing mana back into it. However, this also allowed the portals to open as well, causing monsters only seen in fantasy to invade and attack the inhabitants of earth. All intelligent species were given a system from something unknown to help adapt to the situation and use mana effectively, this meant only humans were given the system.. for now. How will Aster Lightfoot, a 17 year old genius, carve his own path and not only survive but live in this new, unforgiving world.
