Alex:''So you are telling me that some edgy motherfuckers that have numerical codenames attacked me and they are one of the strongest factions?''

Alex:'' Well, thank you then Guild Ledear, and also thank you Litia.'' He says while bowing his head to them.

Leonard:'' Well then, I have got to go now, I still need to find a way to hide fire in the slums area.''

Alex:''' Yeah, that was my fault.''

After that Leonard went out and left Litia and Alex alone.

Alex:'' Since I can't train my body can I at least train my mana core?''

Litia:'' Yes you can, I also suggest you do that, the earlier you reach higher grade mana cores the better it is.''

Alex begins meditating and using the mana whirlpool to attract mana, this time creating the whirlpool was much easier than before, he felt as if the mana was becoming part of his body.

But the shell of the mana core wasn't the only thongs cracking, his body also was, what the book forgot to tell about mana cores upgrades was that the mana inside a body had also to create the perfect host for it, so when the core upgrades also the mana pathways do so, and since Alex is a Chosen One apart from the pathways the body also changed, becoming stronger and more compact.

In the outside world, Litia is using her healing spells to lessen the pain Alex feels.

Alex's muscles are being torn apart, his bones entered in a state of breaking and repairing, the nerves cut and reattached, his skin destroyed and repaired looking it was porcelain, and his pathways constantly changing.

After 2 hours the pain disappeared, and Alex finally relaxed.

Alex's eyes slowly opened, only to see a green sweatshirt on top of his eyes and face.

Litia began to go away from the bed and returned to her seat.

Alex does as she said, and there were some major changes just like she said.

Alex instead walks towards the Library.

Inside Morgana is mediating, but when Alex enters the library she stops and goes back to her desk.

Morgana:''Oh, you reached an orange core, good job.''

Alex:'' Yeah, I am not going to question how you know that, instead I am here because I wanted to see if there were any books regarding advanced elements and magic I can learn.''

Morgan raises her right hand and 3 books begin to float in front of Alex, he takes the books and goes towards a table to begin reading the first one.

The 4 books' names are: " Secondary elemental effect", " Learnable magics for beginner magicians", and " The importance of language".

The first book described how the basic 4 elements were actually much useful than anyone would think, the fire element can also be used to heat or cool, the water element can be used to control blood, and at high levels, it can even cause earthquakes, the wind magic as Alex had already done, can be used to control sound, basic tricks like the one he did falls under wind magic, while sound magic is something much scarier but also much more complicated, and lastly, the earth magic can also be used to control metal due to the partial earth inside it.

The second one listed several magics that can be easily learned and even at high levels if used well can cause high damages.

The third one described how normal human language would have no effect on magic, but if you use other languages, such as Elvish, your magic would be empowered, and you will also be able to learn a new type of magic, the one Litia used was known as Nature magic, and it's a type of magic that is learnable only if you know the elven language.

Alex piles the books on the table, and begins his training, he creates a ball of water on the palm of his hand, he then follows the instruction of the book to cool down the water in his hand.

After a few seconds, the ball of water turned into a ball of ice.

Even though the element changed he still can control it even though way harder.

He begins by creating a water lance, and then turn it to ice, then a water dword and turn it to ice, he continues like this creating different water weapons and turning it to ice, he then does the same thing for the fire and earth element, he doesn't try either the sound or metal elements because they require a higher level in earth and wind magic.

After a while, he stops training since his mana reserves have emptied out, and he begins to meditate while using the whirlpool method but this time with 2 hands, a bit difficult but still doable.

He spends the rest of the day training his magic and core, Morgana simply looks at him, Fey had also entered the room, but when she saw what Alex was doing, she simply got out, not wanting to see this type of bullshit anymore.

Morgana approaches Alex and stops his training.

Morgana:'' You surely are a masochist, training all day and not even relaxing for one moment, aren't you hungry?''

When the words hunger came out of the stomach Alex began to rumble.

Alex:'' Hehehe, you are right, I was so engrossed in training I forgot to eat.''

Morgan throws a chocolate bar at Alex, and he wolfs it down.

Morgana:'' The food you just ate is a special food used by adventurers, it tastes like chocolate, and calms down anger by a lot.''

Alex:'' Thank you, I will go out now, I have to talk with Lisa.''

She nods, and while going out Alex checks his magic development.
