13 Chapter 13

Natalie finishes first, washes her hands and helps Osmond finish the laundry.

"Let's hang out a bit more before we go to bed."

"Okay, what do you wanna do?"

"I don't know, what do you wanna do?"

"Read Winnetou while listening to music."

"Nooo, let's do something together!"

"Alright then, wanna play video games some more, but without making out?"

"How about we make out without playing video games?"

"No."

"Boo."

"So what, are we gonna play something or what?"

"I don't feel like playing video games anymore."

"Alright, then I'm gonna go on and read some Winnetou."

"Nooo!"

"Well, what am I supposed to do?"

"Play with me!"

"What, you wanna go play hide and seek?"

"No… Oh whatever, just go on and read your stupid book, I don't care."

"Yeah, alright."

Osmond retreats to his room, puts his earphones on and turns on some music from his phone. He settles down on his bed and continues reading where he left off. A little while later, Natalie knocks on his door and enters his room. Osmond takes an earphones out.

"What's up?"

"Can I stay next to you while you read?"

"Why?"

"I promise I won't bother you or anything, I just wanna be with you some more."

"Fine, you can stay-"

"Yay!"

"But only if you don't suddenly start kissing me or anything like that!"

"I won't, I promise."

"Alright. Now come here."

Osmond moves closer to the wall and Natalie snuggles up next to him.

"Can you give me one earphone?"

"I'll just put it on speaker."

He pulls out his earphones, puts them in his pocket, and lets his music play out loud.

"This is good, what is it?"

"Chet Baker."

"It's mellow, I like it."

Osmond continues reading his book with Natalie next to him. A little while later, she falls asleep. Osmond turns off his music, puts his stuff on his nightstand, gets out of bed, brushes his teeth and goes back to his room. He gently wakes up Natalie.

"Hey, go sleep in your own bed."

"I don't wanna."

"I have to sleep as well, c'mon."

"Just let me sleep here, I won't assault you or anything."

"No, get out."

"No way."

"Then can I go sleep in your bed?"

"Not a chance."

"Well, what am I supposed to do then? Sleep on the couch?"

"No, just let me sleep and go to sleep like normal, I won't bother you and there's plenty of room for both of us."

"Fine, I give up."

He turns off the ceiling light and climbs over Natalie into his bed.

"Don't take my virginity while I'm asleep."

"I won't."

"Then good night."

"Night."

He turns off the lamp on his nightstand. Natalie climbs out of bed, brushes her teeth and comes back to Osmond's room. Osmond turns the lamp back on.

"Go sleep in your own room!"

"Lay off and let me sleep here for tonight."

"I don't wanna."

"C'mon, you were fine with it a minute ago."

"I thought you were too tired to get up."

She climbs back into his bed and turns the lamp off.

"Hey! Sleep in your own bed!"

"I'm sleeping here and you're sleeping here with me, and that's final."

"Fine, whatever, just don't molest me or anything."

"Don't worry, I won't. Now how about a good night kiss?"

"You said you wouldn't kiss me or anything."

"It's just one kiss, it's not like it's your first or anything."

"That's because you took my first kiss!"

"I did it with your consent, now kiss me good night and let me sleep, please."

"Geez, you're such a bother to deal with."

He briefly kisses her and turns towards the wall.

"Good night."

"Night, sweetie."

Natalie embraces him and he doesn't resist. They fall asleep.
