13th Nightmare

NAENAH AKAIBARA'S POINT OF VIEW

"I have two free tickets for Tia Daria's concert," I said to Manager P, "I can give you a ticket for free."

"If I just know from the start that the two of you are friends then I shouldn't have brought tickets," Manager P said disappointly.

"I didn't expect that she'll give me some free tickets so, I didn't tell you."

The office's door opened and Andres came in.

"Then why don't you go to the concert with Andres instead?"

"What concert?" His forehead knitted in a certain curiosity while checking his paperworks.

"Do you know Tia Daria? The international singer? She's Naenah's friend! She have free tickets. It will be a waste if she will not use those tickets. If you want to attend the concert too then why don't you go with Naenah?" Manager P said.

"When is it going to happen?" He asked.

"Seven pm," Manager answered.

"Okay," he simply said.

My eyes widened in what he said.

"Okay?" Manager P said for confirmation.

"I'm attending that concert you're saying," he said and put his paperworks on his desk

"But you're busy! You can't go to the concert!" I protested

"It's not healthy to be workaholic. It's time to relax," he said and fixed his suit.

I know that I can't stop him so,  I didn't insist.

"We were so bright

Standing in the sunlight

It was easy, natural as breathing air," Tia sang with extreme emotions.

"She's good at singing," Andres commented.

"Yeah, she joined a choir before and she loves music so I know that she'll end up in this field."

Manager P is sitting at the general admission seats because she refused to have the SVIP ticket that Tia gave to me. I ended up being with Andres. I didn't saw Yvanna nor Liana yet, but I'm sure that they'll both attend the concert because they promised.

I don't believe in the saying that 'promises are meant to be broken' because it depends on one's decision and not fate. I trust them.

"Is that her boyfriend? I heard that the known guitarist, Teejay Fernandez, is her boyfriend," he said while pointing the guitarist beside Tia.

"I didn't know that you like to gossip," I laughed a bit, "Yeah, they started dating since highschool and admired their relationship. I am their number one supporter. I saw how their love started. They have same interests so they are a match made in heaven. Teejay is a good guy and he's perfect for her, for Tia," I smiled.

"And when the sky went dark

I should have let you go," Tia added.

"Do you like good guys?" He asked.

"A bit because I think it will be perfect to be with someone good enough unlike me."

"Don't you want bad boys?" He asked again.

"Bad boys? It will be a challenge because I'm not really good, you know."

"Being challenged is exciting, right? Why don't you try to challenge yourself?" He asked.

"Yeah, it's challenging, but our relationship will never work because it's not balance. Every relationship should be balance. A bad boy for a good girl and a bad girl for a good boy, that's the perfect combination," I said, "I don't accept a challenge that have a hundred percent of losing. It's not worth it. I don't want to risk a chance that will make me like a stupid hopeless romantic. I accepted the reality that no one can tame a bad girl nor a bad boy. They will always be the same."

"Chill! I'm just saying that it's challenging," he grin.

"Now I gotta crawl outta love

The whole venue is surrounded by the loud voices of the fans, but something caught my attention. A little red dot light is pointed at Tia's chest. I followed the laser with my eyes. I discovered a woman and I can't see her face because it's covered with a mask.

"What's wrong?" Andres asked.

"Tia is in danger. Someone is planning to shot her. There's a sniper around this venue," I said without looking at him.

"Should I call my men?" He asked again.

"Sure. It will help. Stay here. If a stampede happen, try to help them evacuate with your men. "

I saw the woman with a sniper is preparing to shoot Tia so I run as fast as I could to save Tia. I pushed Tia and Teejay to the ground to save them from being shot. I felt the pain from the bullet in my shoulder.

"Naenah!" Tia shrieked in shock.

"I'm fine! Help your fans to evacuate this place," I commanded her, "I'll go after the shooter."

"You've been shot," Tia protested.

"It's just a scratch. I can handle it. A single bullet won't kill Red Striped Rose. Go with Teejay," I smirk.

On my way to catch to the shooter, a group of women in uniforms cornered me. Their uniforms has a logo of LX7.

"Naenah Akaibara, the legendary Red Striped Rose," one of them said.

"Who are you? What do you need?"

"We're LX7. Our master tasked us to kill each member of Blomst Blades. We need to kill you and bring your head to our Master Lexus," they said.

"Why are you saying it to me. I thought you need to kill me, but you're just starting a chit-chat with me. I have a piece of advice for you, girls. Never warn your enemies, they'll just use it against you," I punched one of them.

They start to attack me. I use my roundhouse kick to the person in front of me and a back kick to the person at my back. A familiar purple dagger pierced in one of them.

"Yvanna! Liana!" I saw them rushing towards me.

"Sorry, we helped some fans to evacuate," Liana said.

We attack them together and I let Yvanna and Liana run after the shooter. I stay on my place to help the other fans to evacuate. I noticed Andres with his men and fighting with some LX7 members. I rushed towards them.

"Andres at your back!" I shouted when I saw a man was about to stab him with a knife.

I immediately shoved it with my elbow and use a roundhouse kick. I discovered Andres with his mouth hung open.

"Woah! I didn't know you can do something like that even if you've been shot," he said with full admiration.

"I'm good at acting numb."

I turned my back.

"Are you okay now?" Andres sit on the stoll beside me.

After the mind-blowing concert of Tia, we decided to go to the bar. Ofcourse, we went to my long time friend who has a clinic to take out the bullet in my shoulder first before going to the bar.

"Yes, it's nothing. It's nothing to compared to my wounds when I was serving in military. It's much worse."

"Why do you decided to leave the camp?" He asked.

"Because I need to. I had reasons that forced me to leave the camp even though I love the job. It's suffocating to stay in a place that you're no longer a part of it. You?" I glanced at Yvanna and Liana, who's dancing crazily while Teejay and Tia are laughing are each other, "Why did you join and leave the camp?"

"I served in the military because of my brother. He opted to become a military man, but he died. To fulfill his dream, I decided to serve in the military, but I think that it wasn't really for me. My team was sabotaged and It almost took my life. Someone accidentally put a bomb inside our hideout and they say that it's one of our comrades. That is my last mission and I was forced to leave the camp by my family. That's also the story why I got this big scar," he pointed his back where his large scar lies.

Past.

We cannot change what happened, but we can do something for the future.

A scar will always be a scar, it won't change.
