3 Chapter: 2

He was sitting in the class, the whole class was filled with students. Everyone was chatting with each other, running behind each other, joking around and laughing. Everyone, waiting for the bell to ring so that they could head to their home. He took in a deep breath and settled back in his seat, looking outside the window he sunk in deep thoughts.

In a month these all students will part ways with each other, in a month they all will become strangers to each other. Buried in things that would make their dreams come true, buried with responsibilities. No one will remain the same as they are right now. His eyes slightly went down and he saw Nari passing by, her hair behind her ears and the bangs blowing along with the winds. In the uniform, she looked like a model student and she was, no doubt.

"How come I never noticed her before, Tch!" He mumbled and folded his arms.

Admiring the girl he had started to fall for, he smiled slightly. She walked away and now couldn't be seen. Park Ye Jun's eyes got stuck where he last saw her and lost in his thoughts he suddenly mumbled.

"I can't lose her."

~~~~~~
Nari walked into her class and as she entered her eyes got stuck on the guy looking outside the window, Park Ye Jun. Her feet stopped and she gritted her teeth.
"What's wrong?" Her classmate asked.
"Go grab your seat," She said and further looked at her.
"I have something to deal with."
She approached Park Ye Jun whose head was turned to the window and whose eyes were closed.
"Yah! Park Ye Jun!" She thumped her hand on his desk, startling him.
He looked up and was shocked to see Nari standing in front of him. He sat straight and Nari sat on the parallel seat facing him. Her one hand was on her thigh while the other was on his desk. He kept his hand on his nape and let it support his head. A monotonous face he carried, was slowly melting seeing Nari fuming in anger. Somehow he found her cute when she glared.
"Who are you? Who are you to be the fake witness? Huh?!" She questioned.
Ye Jun cleared his throat and sat up straight again. The conversation was serious.
"Answer me!"
"Do you even know what he did? Just because he is your friend?- You're such a low life."
She stood up and was about to walk away when he stood up and called her name.
"Nari-ya."
She turned around and stabbed her index finger on his chest.
"No, I won't listen to you. And you know what, go ahead and complain about me. When I get suspended, I will beat Eunji to death. Just wait until then."
She pushed him by her finger and walked away. Ye Jun kept looking at her retreating back again. He frowned, she seemed extremely raged.
'What did Eunji do?' Ye Jun wondered and he realised, he never asked Eunji this question.
Everyone in the class stared at Nari who walked out of the class and now were staring at Ye Jun. Ye Jun, whose eyes were stuck on the door, picked his bag and ran out of the class. He ran through the corridor, everyone staring at him. Descending the stairs he looked here and there, and there she was walking in the corridor. People mumbled within themselves as she passed by.
'A model student?' A girl laughed with her friend.
'She has always been like that, taking out her anger here instead of on her family with whom she is angry.' Another guy spoke.
Ye Jun heard them, he felt bad for her. It was true that he was a fake witness. It was true that he had told the teachers that Nari had approached Eunji first and had beaten him up without any major reason. He looked at Nari ignoring all and walking freely as she took a right turn to approach the washroom. It was his fault, because of him Nari was about to get suspended. The model student, who was good in studies, was getting suspended over nothing. But then the other half of his mind thought what if Eunji was right. Eunji was his friend for the last six years, he had to take his friend's side and protect him. But what if he was lying? Ye Jun was confused, he had no idea what he was going to do.
Clutching the strap of the bag stuck to his shoulder he ran out of the building and the bell rang. All the students rushed out. Ye Jun stood outside the main gate of the school, he needed to ask Eunji about that day. He really needed to know who was right, to protect any one of them.
All the students left the school and Ye Jun kept standing there, Neither Nari came out nor Eunji. Tired of waiting outside he ran inside again. The buildings were empty and only a few students could be seen. Running to the last class on the second floor he finally found Eunji sitting on a desk reading a book with full concentration.
Hearing Ye Jun's foot tap echo, Eunji looked outside.
"Ye Jun-ah!" He stood up.
Ye Jun was panting, he walked inside and Eunji approached him too.
"What's wrong?" He asked Ye Jun.
"What happened that day?" Ye Jun asked directly.
"When?"
"The day you fought with her."
"Who?"
"AHN NARI!" He yelled.
"Ah! That bitch?" Eunji rubbed his forehead.
"Tch! You know."
"No," His voice was calm again.
"I don't know, so tell me."
"Ah, what's wrong with you? Why are you suddenly interrogating me?"
Eunji started approaching his desk.
"Tell me what happened that day? Why am I a fake witness?!" He yelled as he threw his bag away furiously making Eunji stop at his place.
His eyes were enraged and his breath was heavy. By this time, Park Ye Jun knew he was hiding something.
