2 Chapter 2

"Bella we need to get going, it's a one hour drive and we don't want to get to the meeting late. You're taking too much time to get dressed which is like you but girl we aren't going to some grammy awards. It's a meeting we're attending."

"Bitch I'm coming, you know I love looking smoking hot unlike you madam Alpha. Give me five minutes and I'll be down drooling your eyes.

Finally Bella finished up her glamorous make-up . We headed out to the car with Garel taking the steering.

My eyes stayed fixated into the woods throughout the drive. My thoughts wandered back to the day i ran away from my home my biological family.

Not once have i regretted running away from my home.

They never did nothing to me but I never felt loved there. Maybe someday i might pay them a visit. They belong to the Ancient moon pack in South America.

I have two sisters and two brothers. They are all grown up now . Not outgrown me in age but maybe in height or weight because am the eldest child . Both of my parents are werewolves and I'm sure all my siblings will shift into werewolves when they become of age.

Upto now no reasonable theory explains how I'm a lion shifter when i am born of werewolf genes. There's never been a lion shifter throughout all history.

My mind runs back to how important this meeting is to me today. That piece of land almost every Alpha in North America has eyes on also has my eyes set on.

My pack has grown and I need to expand my training grounds but there's no land to expand it to.

The pack house has become congested .Some mated weres need to build and move into their own cabins .

"Are you going to come out of that car or you prefer using your heightened hearing senses for the meeting," Garel said with a grin.

"I'm your Alpha address me like you're supposed to Beta," I replied using my Alpha tone.

He bowed his head , "Yes Alpha."

"You know it's so easy to erase that grin of yours Garel," I half laughed in the talking.

"Why do you always have to do that to me..my soo ungrateful friend." Garel said faking hurt. We headed inside the building pressing number forty one on the elevator.

Almost every Alpha had arrived with their Luna's and betas. Not all of the Alphas had mates but those who had them carried them along to the meeting. Not all meetings require the Luna's or betas to come along .

In discussion of sensitive issues only Alphas are to attend or their Betas incase their Alphas couldn't make it .

I carried along my Beta and Gamma as i didn't have a mate. More like they carried me along.I never failed to carry them in meetings like this where you could carry your mates,second in command or third in command .

I mean I don't want to waste that chance of company to the so boring meeting full of male dominance with me being the only female Alpha.

Every Alpha arrived and settled the meeting starting off with Alphas giving out their reasons for wanting the unclaimed piece of land.

My turn to give out my reason's for wanting the piece of land came by and my Beta did the talking .

Everything was going on fine until Alpha Trave of the Blood moon pack interrupted my Beta telling him off how he deserves that land more than we need it. He continued to blabb on how a little and unrecognisable pack like ours doesn't have much importance for that land.

Garel grew frustrated ,rage pilling up making his veins visible. Other Alphas murmured between themselves agreeing with Alpha Trave's ignorance.

I had really had it with some of them. They drench disrespect and ignorance anytime they open their mouths especially Trave.

Who in the blazing hell does Alpha Trave think he is. Just because he's known as the mighty ruthless Alpha of Alphas thinks he can disrespect my Beta and insult my pack however he wants .

"Bitch I've had enough of your ignorant egoistical disrespectful self running your bitchy mouth on my Beta and pack. What hellhole gives you the audacity to talk to my Beta like that!! Just because you run around pilling packs corpses doesn't earn you the right to interrupt my Beta when he's talking," I angrily said standing up.

Talking of ego's,well I just bruised his walled up ego. His eyes turned black anger and ego rooting itself up his face. So the big bad wolf is angry. Do I regret it?? NO. I'm not a push around to satisfy his empire built ego. I'm no man's worshipper let him do his worst.

Alphas in the room looked at me wide eyed. Why wouldn't they? I mean i had upset a beast of them all. Much to my disappointment they were afraid for me . "Psst ,people of little faith huh,, underestimate me much," I murmured to myself earning an eye roll from the ooh so reserved lion in me.

The glares I got were totally written on YOU'RE DEAD in them. Little did they know the Alpha of Alphas is nothing compared to me. I might be female but not below them. Female but a lioness something they've never seen. A specie not even their ancestors ever saw in their lifetime. A black red neck stripped lioness.

"Are you challenging me woman,"he laughed. Oooh here comes ego itself talking. I restrained myself from doing an eyeroll but guess who wouldn't, the animal inside of me did it for me.

'''Animal !!Animal!! animal!! I'm queen of the jungle, you're no difference from him ,'''Arch whined in my head.

"Shut it idiot!," I inwardly sneered at her and disconnected her.

"Poor little thing, you're so weak to the point that your Beta has to do the talking for you. I wonder if he also runs your little pitiful puppy pack while you sit behind eating your nails. Pathetic being," ego continued to blabb itself in Trave.

Garel stood up rage surging in the line of his veins. His fingertips showing countable sparks of fire only visible to my eyesight.

"Garel sit down lemme handle this." I mindlinked him

"As you say Alpha," he did a little bow sitting back down.

On the other hand madam Cinderella ,Bella moved uncomfortable on her chair trying to get hold of her anger. She sure had the urge to pounce on the Alpha of Alphas and rip his head off his neck.

"It's already laughable that he does the talking for you and just now he was up to fight your battle. What a weakling," he said finishing with an annoying laugh.

'''Wait did he just call me a weakling!!!''' Arch shouted in my head.

"Can you just stay out of my head for a minute Arch."

''' I'm in your head, part of your soul idiot .. it's impossible,''' she scoffed.

"Staying calm and uninvolved with a blabbering psychotic animal like you throughout the meetings doesn't render me a weakling . Better construct your choice of words when talking to me Alpha." I said narrowing my eyes at him.

And with that the Alpha of Alphas surrendered himself to anger allowing it to savour every bit of his sarcastic humanity. I guess I did hit the red button closing of humanity inviting in the beasty mode.

He charged at me his wolf having taken over but still in his human form. I blinked my eyes allowing then to turn frozen blue indicating my mind controlling switch had been switched on.

I fixed them on Trave's forcing his brain to obey me and it fully submitted to my command . My order stood against his will but since his brains loyalty was now to me he stood where he was.

"Walk back to your seat and seat ." I ordered his brain.

His brain registered the order to his body and I held my control as he walked back to his seat and sat down.

Alphas in the room looked at me like an abomination from another dimension. Atleast they had the nobility to fear for themselves. I allowed my sense to read through some of their thoughts and God, how stupid can these people be.
