13 A Desperate Plan
Things have been going well for the Laire family. William's parents were psyched that their son is a beta, they also have him some tips that would come in handy when fighting or scouting. They also allowed him to sleepover at Keisha's house until things between the packs calm down. They've also increased his curfew to eleven pm cuz they know that he's in safe hands now. School has closed down so the wolves are on guard 24/7 meaning that Blame and his crew have found it hard to get in which made Daren and Caleb frustrated. They were coming with new ways to get in but none of them worked. The only way they could let a team get in would be if they came in through the east side or created a diversion. They were willing to try both but would start with the diversion first. Brody and Janet had also been giving Eric and the pack prices of advice as well as holding meetings with them all. Things were set for a full on war, all it needed was a spark to make things go boom.

"Man, the snow is getting higher by the day" Connor said ploughing his way through the snow. His paws got swallowed by the snow as it was now a foot and five inches deep in most parts but he and Willing am kept on finding themselves in places deeper than that because moving in the foot and a half inches of snow wasn't that stressful.
"Tell me about it, it's reduced our mobility by a lot" replied William as he made his way through the snow.
"I just hope those boulder boys also he affected by it"Connor responded as he had resorted to hopping through the snow.
"Yep, it would make the playing ground even" Will replied lowering his head to avoid a branch.
"You guys are hopeless" Keisha said as she and Brian approached them from behind.
"Why do you think that" William answered as he and Connor turned their bodies to the side to make it easier for their heads to get a good view of the approaching two.
"Cuz you guys are making us look bad by moving through the snow that way" Brian replied as he walked effortlessly through the snow.
"So how are we ment to walk?" asked Connor eager to learn.
"You guys are ment to first of all, identify the part with less snow and use those long legs of yours and walk" Keisha said demonstrating all her instructions.
"Well, your words made no sense but how you demonstrated what to do did" William said cheekily.
"You're going to pay for that" Keisha said leaping towards him.
"Oh shit, gatta move" William exclaimed as he moved quickly through the snow.
"You know you'll never catch him" Connor commented though he knew Keisha would never listen to him.
William moved quickly as Keisha closed in to pounce on him. He finally hit a place with little snow fall and made a run for it. Keisha pursued intensely as Brian and Connor lagged behind to avoid getting stuck in the crossfire. After running to a plain, Keisha finally gave up in her attempts to catching up to Will.
"Okay.....you win" Keisha said with an exhausted tone.
"Yeah, I win again, I win again" William sang and danced.
"Following you guys makes me hungry" Brain said before yawning and shaking the snow that fell of a tree unto his back off him.
"Agreed" Connor cried as he used his left hind paw to scratch behind his left ear.
"So, what are we looking at, red deer, roe deer, munjtac deer?" William asked licking his wolf lips in excitement.
"I think we should take down our all time favourite, red deer" Connor said mouth watering and sticking out his tongue.
"All agree?" Brian exclaimed.
"Agreed" the other three chorused.
"Right, were not starting the herd this time" William stated as he and Connor walked towards the herd of Red deer a few kilometres away.
"Ehhh, fair trade" Added Keisha walking closely behind the two.
They made their way north to where the red deer grazed. Their guard would be down since they would have to dig through the snow to get to the green grass underneath. Since they were situated in a plain, sneaking up on them would be extra tricky with no bushes, tall grass or trees to cover them. They had to cover themselves partially with snow to kind off blend in with the environment. They positioned themselves around the herd so that they could pick off on deer for themselves. Keisha got into position and sprang the trap alerting the deer and they ran fright into the mouths of Brian, Connor and William. They lunged and took down the deer while Keisha had to work extra hard to chase down and kill her own meal. By the time she suffocated her deer and dragged it back to where the other's were, they had already ripped theirs open and dug their heads in deep into their bodies.
"Wow, you guys sure kill quick" Keisha said dropping her meal from her mouth.
"Well what do expect, we kill quick when we're hungry" Connor said as he pulled his head that was covered in blood out of the ribcage of his kill with some flesh in his mouth and looked at her swallowing his piece of meat.
"Yes, hungry equals fast kills" William said pulling out a mouthful of guts. He quickly swallowed it and put his head back into the carcass. Like Connor, Brian and William's fur was stained with the blood of their meal.
"Yh, yh, yh" Keisha replied before digging into her own kill

"That was a nice meal" William stated as he licked his snout.
"Yh, now back to patrolling" Keisha said.
"Yep, guess I'll see you guys around" Connor said running off with William to their assigned part of the border to patrol.
They split up from Keisha and Brian and went towards were they usually hung around in case those boulder heads reared their heads.
|Blake's POV|
"Alright gang, let's go with the plan. Y'all got it?" Blake asked giving his team confidence.
"YES SIR!!" they exclaimed.
"Yes, everyone positions. Let's do this" Blake said as two people out of their group of five ran in a different direction as planned.
Blake and his crew came to the rocky hill where he would find Connor and William looking for their tracks.
"Well if it isn't the two hamsters digging around the snow, looking for us" Blake said devilishly as William and Connor looked up and growled at him.
"What are you doing here you oversized black rat" William growled at the appearance of the three boulder members.
"Oversized black rat? I never knew your vocabulary spanned this far" Blake said taunting William.
"I've had enough of this!" William exclaimed as he ran towards William.
This was all part of Blake's plan to distract William and Connor as the two hiding away would sprint deeper into their territory.
Connor backed Will up and took on one of his wingmen as the beta had to handle Blake and his pimp alone. Snarls, growls, snapping and wolf barks could be heard as they sank their teeth and claws into reach other. While they rolled around fighting tooth and claw, the other two scouts slipped past William and Connor's view as they were tunnel visioned on their opponents. They slipped in without a trace and headed deeper into Hamsterly turf. After five wore minutes of trading blows, Blake and his boys ran away happily that their plan had worked though his mouth was clawed and blood dropped from the open wound given to him by none other than William himself. His body guards didn't go unharmed either too with Connor's opponent limping his way away after getting multiply bites to his left shoulder and the one that encountered William had part of his ear ripped off and puncture wounds all over his right hind leg.
"I hate losing to those hamsters but it was for the best" Blake said as he limped away to the rocky hill.
|Third Person POV|
William looked upon a retreating Blake as they climbed up the rocks back to their side of the forest. They weren't badly bruised as their rivals but still got some damage. William stretched forward extending his hind legs and backwards extending his front paws before shaking the fight off. Connor on the other hand snooped around to see if the boulder boys changed their mind and turned around or had a back up plan. William enjoyed to cold breeze that came in before being alerted by Connor's bark. He ran to his position to find out why he called him.
"What is it Connor?" William asked.
"Look at these tracks Will, they aren't from Blake and his bodyguards that just left" Connor said quickly.
"Yeah" William said as he sniffed the tracks.
"They're not and they lead into our side of the forest. I knew they didn't just can't me for a fight, they used it as a diversion while those mealy worms wiggled their way past us. Sound the alarm, we have intruders" William said aggressively at the end.
Connor took the command from the beta and gave a long howl announcing that they had intruders.
On the other hand, the intruders s snooped in further into Hamsterly territory and was able to spy on Mary and Ethan effectively identifying their route, how they worked and anything they could use against them when the howl hit their ears.
"Do you think they've found our tracks?" The male asked. As Mary and Ethan decrypted the howl and responded.
"Well judging from how they are now on the alert and sniffing around vigorously for tracks, I'm guessing yes. Let's go" The female replied as they tried to get away successfully.
As they moved through the bushes, they rustled and they snapped a branch alerting Ethan and Mary who rushed to where the sound came from and found an unfamiliar fur colour and a totally different scent. They howled to indicate that the intruders had been found and were on their tale. The intruders knew that the big was up and had to escape. They headed for the oldest part to their border but Keisha and Brian dwelt there and it would be hard getting past them and if they tried to go through William and Connor, they may be killed. They had to take their chances and go through Brian and Keisha's route.
As soon as Mary and Ethan had gotten the intruders, every other pack member rushed to their position to intercept them. The two intruders ran through the forest moving quickly through the snowy landscape. Miranda and Kent were the closets to Ethan and Mary's location while the others were still along way out. They were able to find the intruders running through the forest. Kent snarled as he gave chase to the ones that dared to break their rules. Miranda also pursued but not as intensely as Kent. Mary and Ethan met up with them as Kent led the way to catch them. They were soon joined by Eric and Linda who also chased them. Brian and Keisha ran in front of them to try and cut them off but they were swift to change direction as they were chased by eight very, very, angry wolves that could kill them right now. Whines, snarls, growls and barks were heard as they chased the intruders with fear on their face right into William and Connor's claws. They were scared as they saw their border just some kilometers away as Kent and Miranda tried to trip them but they escaped their grasp. As they were two kilometres away from their freedom, William and Connor sprung out of the bushes and brought down the runners. The pack circled around the frieghtened two as they barked, growled and snarled at the ten of them. They circled the two barking and trying to bite them. They nipped at them taking cheap scratches and blows at them.
"You two thought that you could get into our territory and get away with it? Not on our land. Let's see how much information we can get out of these two rascals. Sick em boys!" Eric exclaimed as Brian and the boys jumped on the two and gave them a real beating.

The two intruders were gravely injured and managed to make it over to where some of their pack members patrolled and were picked up. They had Tron muscles, parts of them were ripped open, ankles twisted, parts punctured, ears bitten, skin torn and fur ripped off from the deadly encounter they had with the Hamsterly pack. The two of them were used as scale goats to warn the rest of the boulder pack that they were t as soft as they looked. The two were rushed to their clinic to get their wounds treated.
"They will not go unpunished, they wi not escape our wrath for they have declared war with us. This....is....WAR!!!!" Daren shouted as all the other wolves began to howl and bark.
On the other hand, Eric had a general meeting with the pack as he addressed the issue that occurred today.
"After what we did today, the boulder pack would retaliate with full force" Eric said as he walked about.
"What do intend for us to do" William asked.
"Well I don't know but from the information we got from those two, the boulder pack isn't ready to go down without a fight and we won't either" Eric said.
"Then I guess it's about time boys" Miranda said gently punching William in the back.
"Time for what?" Ethan asked with his arms folded.
"It's time we train our forest and for that we would need to go on the offensive. No more playing defence, it time we take the battle to them" Brody said with a heart warming voice that filled their hearts with confidence. They were preparing to go to war with the other pack to reclaim their land. Eric had come up with a plan to show that they won't back down from this.
