Until we meet again

Chu Feng decided to stay, as a sword cultivator he was not one to back out from a challenge. The Qi that was gathering around Ragna was turning into ice. The ground surrounding them was turning into ice, confident with his strength Chu Feng simply stood in his place, sword at hand waiting for the incoming strike, but to his surprise this was a mistake. The ice that he thought he could easily destroy was actually encroaching him, he tried to surround himself with his Heavenly Sword Qi but it only delayed the inevitable. Chu Feng thought that Ragna's plan was trap him in ice, but when he saw the Qi gathering around Ragna still increasing, he feared for the worst.

Before the attack could be made, the three Elders that accompanied Ragna appeared in front of Chu Feng. The three kowtowed in front of Ragna even in the midst of all the ice. Ragna seeing this stopped his attack.

"What do you want?" Ragna asked with a tinge of anger, but after lashing out, his rage died down a bit. The three Elders without lifting their head answered.

"Please Ragna do not kill the sect leader, on behalf of the sect we three will take all the responsibility."

Chu Feng was bewildered by the scene, but when he heard the three he felt anger and shame. "How dare you three! Who gave you the ability to ask for forgiveness in my behalf, and on behalf of the sect!?"

Without breaking their kowtowing pose the three faced Chu Feng and answered him, "Sect Leader please calm yourself, without you the Heavenly Sword sect will be finished, those jackals from the Devouring Soul sect will annihilate us the moment you disappear, please for the sect that our ancestors built, please survive this!"

When he heard the desperation in the three Elders words, instead of feeling touched, he felt even more shamed. The Elders under him actually said such things, that means they who have been with him for hundreds of years, do not believe in his ability to fight Ragna, which they've known for a few days.

Before Chu Feng could speak, Ragna spoke before him. "This is getting irritating... I don't care if this foolish Sect Leader of yours dies, but as long as he doesn't bother me anymore I wont kill him... Also forget about what I said, regarding joining the Heavenly Sword sect, this kind of sect ain't for me." When the three Elders heard what Ragna said they rejoiced, Chu Feng on the other hand wanted to puke blood. Has there been a sect leader of the Heavenly Sword sect that was humiliated like this, in his own territory?

Sensing Chu Feng was about to rebuke Ragna, the three Elders interrupted him. "Sect Leader, we tell you this on the name of our ancestors, the moment you say something that angers that youth in front of us, is the moment our sect dies."

Hearing the conviction of the three Elders, Chu Feng had no choice but to swallow his own words... After a moment of silence, Chu Feng sighed "I will not pursue this matter anymore, you may leave."

"Hmph, you are not someone who can tell me when to leave... But seeing as their is nothing for me to do here I'll leave.""Stop" When he was about to leave, Ragna heard two voices shout at the same time.

He looked back, as expected the one who shouted was Elise, but unexpectedly another feminine voice shouted, and it was Reki.

The two who shouted looked at each other momentarily, and for some reason knew that they were about to say the same thing.

"Big brother, bring me with you, I wish to grow stronger with you." Ragna saw a deep conviction in Elise's eyes.

"I as well wish to accompany you, I am willing to do anything. Please accept me as your student!" Reki with a feminine voice, that you wouldn't expect from a guy asked with a firm look on his face.

Ragna clicked his tongue. "Tsk, how many times do I need to say this brat. I can't babysit you... You trap, you want me to be your master? Well I don't want you to be my student."

Hearing Ragna's response, and seeing his back steadily walking away, the two felt dejected. Elise wanted to force herself upon him, but she didn't want him to really hate her. Reki on the other hand was thinking of ways to convince Ragna, he then thought of telling his secret to convince Ragna, but before he could decide what to do Ragna spoke.

"Though I can't babysit both of you, I can't stop you from following either..." When the two heard this, they beamed with joy as they run towards Ragna, and followed behind him.

When he thought everything was resolved, Ragna heard another shout "Wait!" when Ragna looked back again, he saw Freya. 'What? Does she want to join me as well?' Ragna thought.

"Ragna, I won't say I will join you, I won't say I'll get stronger beside you, I won't say I want to be your student. What I will say is that I will surpass you, and when I do, I want you to listen to a request of mine. The stage will be on the Young Dragons Tournament." This was the best compromise Freya, could make with her emotions and her pride. She felt something for Ragna, she didn't know if it was love, or whatnot, but she didn't want him to leave her that's for sure. Still with her enormous pride she would never admit this, so she decided to face Ragna head on, and make him stay with her by force. In this world power makes the rules.

Ragna looked at Freya dumbfounded, but for some reason he felt like smiling. Even though he was an otaku in his past life, even though this body was just a replica of the video game character Ragna. The Ragna standing here and now was someone different from the otaku, and the game character, he was his own person now. He smiled ferociously at Freya and answered.

"Sure if your able to beat me I'll listen to your request... See you Freya, let's meet again in the Young Dragons Tournament." After saying his piece, Ragna left Spalding.

Seeing this Freya felt a tinge of loss, but that only lasted for a moment, before she felt even more motivated.

Seeing the different scenes unfold before his eyes, Baiyi felt irritated, he needed to gain more power and fast, or else he might lose everything he wished for.

In the middle of the crowd, Leylin sighed 'Like I thought Ragna was too much of an unknown factor... Still he took Elise, so the plan to force the Astrakane's city lord to join my side is a failure... Well that's just a minor matter, I can still salvage the situation.' Leylin was still planning his next step.
