This is real Alchemy

Huifen looked at the condescending look of the spiky haired youth. 'Is this a new way to get my attention?' Huifen had seen many people trying to court her, some even tried to irritate her so that she would notice them. Yet this guy actually said her Alchemy was nothing, this spiky haired youth told her that her alchemy was like cooking.

Huifen started observing the spiky haired youth, and was surprised. Usually when somebody sees her for the first time they would have a lecherous stare, but the youth didn't look at her that way. Though it wasn't obvious the youth actually appreciated her beauty, as displayed by the subtle red tint on his cheeks, he was actually blushing.

While the two were staring at each other, one of Huifen's many suitors shouted breaking the weird atmosphere.

"How dare a nobody like you, slander our lady's Alchemy!" The man who shouted took out his axe and dashed toward the spiky haired youth. He was at the Foundation Establishment realm, and the youth in front of him emitted no Qi, and based on how young he looked he must be at most in the Spirit Building realm.

When he attacked with his axe at full power, he then felt a hand touched his wrist, and before he knew it he was already lying on the ground. He looked at his arm and saw his weapon had shattered.

Everyone who saw what had happened gulped dryly. The spiky haired youth's martial arts was at the top of younger generation. When the spiky haired youth saw the bewilderment of the surrounding people, he smiled.

"So if you guys want to attack, now's your chance. If you want, all of you can come at me at the same time, it will save me the effort to fight you guys one after another." The little girl behind the spiky haired youth started giggling, while the cute boy/girl bowed.

This boy was too arrogant, but based on that one skill he used, he seems to have the right to be arrogant. The Elders on the other hand wanted to make a move on the spiky haired youth, but hesitated.

Even they who were at the Transcending Mortality realm couldn't sense the spiky haired youth's cultivation. If they attack and in the end lose to a junior they would be the laughing stock of the whole Empire.

When everyone was quite, Huifen looked at spiky haired youth and asked, "who are you?"

"I'm called Ragna" When Ragna announced his name, some of Huifen's suitors looked scared. Huifen immediately noticed the change of expression of some people, possibly because they knew who Ragna was.

Even some of the Elders were visibly shaken, so this youth must be someone famous. As she was fully concentrated on her research she had no time, to hear new news for the past year.

"You must be someone famous, seeing everyone's reactions. So what do you want? Are you also one of those people who are here to ask me to be your woman?" Huifen glared at Ragna icily.

"Heh, you are indeed a beauty that any man would want to have... But my objective is different, still making you my woman could actually help accomplish my goal."

"So I guess your no different from this people, your even telling me you have a different goal but in the end you still want me to be your woman." Huifen responded curtly.

"It would be useless even if I explained, so I just need to beat you in Alchemy to gain you right?" Ragna spoke his tone full of indifference.

The other suitor who heard, Ragna speak as if gaining the beautiful Goddess Huifen was not worth mentioning. They all wanted to kill the arrogant guy right there and then. But they stopped themselves from doing anything stupid, after hearing from the people who knew or heard about Ragna, explaining what kind of person he was.

This Ragna was the one who annihilated the whole Lian clan, a clan who had a Nascent Soul elder guarding it. Nascent Soul experts were people who can roam the Empire without any worries, but this one man actually annihilated a whole clan with such an expert. Even though they were all enamored by Huifen, but they still valued their lives above all else. Who knows what the monster in front of them would do, if they pissed him off. He might actually destroy their whole clan, and leave none alive.

Huifen hearing Ragna say such things in such a tone, made her really irritated. 'What's with this guy?! Is this really a ploy just to get my attention?'

"Yes you are correct, as long as you prove to me that your alchemy is superior to mine, then I will allow you to have me as your woman."

When Ragna heard the answer of Huifen, he was about to respond but Elise was the first to speak.

"Yay! So Big brother is going to have another woman, I'll gain a sister. I hope we get along as fellow wives."

When everyone heard Elise say she was Ragna's wife, they were all shocked. You already have such a cute little wife, and you want to have our goddess as well!

Huifen on the other hand glared at Ragna with an icy stare. "So you were a pervert all along. Having this little child as your wife."

Ragna's face cramped as he heard Huifen call him a pervert. "First of we are not yet husband and wife, we are simply engaged. Second let's stop talking about all this nonsense and get to the main event already."

"Fine then, we can use this cauldrons for this competition. Tell me what materials do you need, for your synthesis?" Huifen went in front of the cauldron she was using from the previous competition.

Ragna waved his hands, "I already prepared my own materials, also I wont be needing a cauldron. A cauldron for Alchemy how ancient."

The crowd hearing Ragna wont be using a cauldron, started to wonder if this fool actually knew anything about alchemy. Huifen looked even more displeased than a while ago.

"If your just going to mess around, then I suggest you leave."

"Don't be too hasty. Here let me show you what real Alchemy looks like."

Ragan pulled out a bunch of materials out of nowhere. 'Does this boy have a storage ring?' Ragna unaware of the question everyone was thinking took a marker and started drawing on the ground. First he drew a large circle, and started writing unknown runic symbols inside the circle then he drew a hexagram.

Ragna placed all of his materials inside the circle, and touched the tip of the circle with both his hands.

Huifen thought that Ragna was crazy as he did such an unusual ritual, still due to her scientific curiosity she waited patiently for Ragna to finish. When Ragna placed his hands on the tip of the drawn circle, he started gathering Qi. The Qi he was gathering started producing something similar to thunder, and with a poof of smoke, what appeared before Huifen surprised her.

In front of Ragna, were all those mysterious materials were placed disappeared, and all that was left was a bottle full of light green liquid.

Ragna looked at the finished product and smiled, the alchemy he used was a combination of all the various anime, and video games related to alchemy. The ingredients were also from a favorite video game he played in the past. The process he used was a technique he himself invented after buying from the system, all the knowledge on alchemy that was available.

Ragna picked up the bottle in front of him and smirked at Huifen, who was looking at him dumbstruck. "See that? now that was Alchemy. Efficient, refined, and most importantly able to use all the materials with 100% purity. Not like that weird cooking style alchemy you just used. This is real Alchemy."
