Magical Beasts

Ragna was trying to rest in a corner, yet try as he might, the noisy bird beside him wouldn't let him be. Elise kept on talking, and asking him questions. Everytime Ragna gets her to quiet down, after a few minutes, she starts talking again.

Elise then looked at Ragna seriously, "Big brother we've been surrounded." When Ragna heard this he was surprised, but didn't show it in his face. He stood up and showed a fierce grin to change the look of surprise he had.

"It's seems like someone wants to f*cking die today." It wasn't only them who noticed the sudden change in atmosphere. All the disciples clustered together, while the three Elders were reinforcing the defensive formation they laid.

"Ragna, I'm sorry to ask you this... But can you kill the magical beasts outside of the formation. We can only reinforce the defensive formation, but it wont last, if the Magical Beasts are able to get through most of the new disciples will die."

When the others heard this, they started to panic, and pleaded Ragna to go. The little girl Elise hearing this got a bit angry.

"Why are you people like this? Why are you all forcing Big brother to go alone, why wont any of you try and volunteer to accompany him." When the people heard what Elis had to say they stopped talking.

"Fine then you cowards! I'll go with Big brother myself." Freya was going to volunteer, but Elise got to speak first.

"Hmph, there's no need for you to go brat. I alone am enough for those beasts. Also how many times do I need to say this, I can't babysit you." Before hearing Elise's response Ragna already exited the formation.

What greeted Ragna outside were a pack of large black bears, they stood in front of Ragna, a towering 5 meters tall. When they saw Ragna the Bears growled, and started to rush toward him.

Ragna did a Ram hand seal, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." Four clones of Ragna appeared, each one of them was smiling in a craze way. "Bring it! My Experience points!"

Unlike the White Wolf, the bears' skin were much thinner, so blo*dedge was able to cut them down. The original Ragna stood at the back looking at the progress of his exp bar.

Ragna noticed some movement from above "Lightning Bolt." A bolt of lightning came down from the sky, hitting a huge red bird, the bird that fell down from the sky looked like the Philippine eagle or the so called Monkey eating eagle, the only difference was, this was bloody red, and was the size of a mini airplane.

There were a bunch of them in the air, Ragna pointed his finger up in the air, "Fire bolt! Lightning bolt! Cold bolt!" A ball of pure flame came flying down from the skies, as well as chunk of ice, and lightning at the same time, all of them hit a red bird who were circling the air.

Ragna kept on using magic, and was now with only a little mana to spare, still he didn't want to look weak for even a second. 'System how many O.P points do I have now.' While fighting the people inside the formation were watching him, so of course he was gathering more O.P points. "Host has 11,300 O.P points steadily rising." 'With my current O.P points what's the best passive mana regeneration skill I can buy?'

"Mana Regeneration (Path of Ex*le tree) (11,000 points)" 'Ok then I'm buying that'

After acquiring the skill, Ragna fired more magic on the aerial enemies, while his clones deal with the ones on the ground.

The people watching were now beyond shocked, there was no words to describe what they were feeling. Even the three Elders who have lived for some hundred years now, haven't seen this kind of scene. A single man was one sidedly slaughtering numerous Magical Beast, and this Magical Beasts were equivalent to a 1st level Golden Core realm human in strength.

He was casually slaughtering a horde of this Magical Beasts. Even Leylin the one who planned this was surprised, but he still signaled his men while everyone was distracted. Leylin's men acted swiftly, they were ten of them, all of which where at the peak of the Foundation Establishment realm. Even one of them can easily kill Elise, but Leylin was a cautious one, so he brought ten to be sure. All ten of them threw poison needles towards Elise, the speed of the needles thrown was not something a person at the Spirit Building realm could follow.

Sure that their target was done for, the ten men were ready to make a hasty retreat, but what happened next shock them. The needles were blocked by a wall of sand. This was the Suna no Tate/Sand shield Ragna bought before the trip, even though Ragna kept on saying he had no time to babysit, he was actually quiet worried about the little girl.

When Leylin saw this scene, he signaled his men to retreat using his eyes, but it was too late the Three Elders notice them already. The three Elders were about to strike, but before they could do so, the ten men self destructed. The explosion was strong enough to blow the formation of the three Elders as well as everyone there. Leylin knowing this was able to retreat a distance and was ready to use the life saving artifact his mother gave him, but before he could do so , a huge wall of sand surrounded the group and was able to block the explosion.

When they saw this everyone unconsciously looked at Ragna, who was in turn looking at them and nodded his head, and then went back to massacring the Magical Beasts.

"It was Ragna, even while fighting he protected all of us as well."

"Just how powerful is Ragna?"

Freya's heart which she had just recently calmed down, was now shaken again, Ragna's continuous show of skill was dizzying, just when she thought she knew how strong he was, he shows her that she wasn't even close to the right answer.

Baiyi looked at Ragna and Leylin with anger. 'Good thing I didn't decide to strike now, or else I'll be dead as well.'

Leylin just sighed, 'it seems like I need to move the schedule of the other plans. Ragna is too much of an unknown factor.'

Elise on the other hand, knew she was the target of those men, she was just trying to figure out who was it that sent them.
