Finally leveling up

Ragna decided to buy the Tai Chi Grand Master skill, just so that he can buy the books and give them to Reki. 'Still I won't buy them now, I'll just buy them later, once we're done with this mountain.'

After a few more minutes of waiting the girls came out of the cave looking refreshed, Elise was happily skipping towards, Ragna while Reki had her head down, and didn't even dare look at Ragna.

"You guys done? I suggest the two of you, to go back to the restaurant."

"How mean Big brother, we want to see the top of the mountain too. Also Big sis Reki can't go back, or else the people will notice the massive change." When Elise was saying this she was looking at Reki's D cup breast.

Ragna stopped himself from blushing when he noticed this. "Then do whatever you want, I'm going to take a bath now." Ragna charged into the hot spring covering up his embarrassment. 'Shit I still need to find a way to calm down, after touching a girl... I just need to sink deeper into my Ragna character, and be cool about it.'

Ragna relaxed himself in the hot spring, were he suddenly remembered his family. 'I bet there happy now that they lost me, who was a waste of space. Still I wonder why I'm so cool about this situation? I know I was bored and all, but not being able to see my family again or my home is suppose to scare me, or something with that kind of feeling, but in truth I feel nothing... It must be the system, it's messing with my personality, well I guess its not such a bad thing, I'll just live my life the best I can in this world. The goal of the game, the system told me was to show to the whole world, I'm the most O.P thing in existence... Might as well do that mission, I want to see what happens when I clear the game.'

After soaking in for a time, Ragna and the other two started to climb the mountain once more. It took half an hour to reach the top. When the group got to the top, of the mountain, they felt their bodies getting a bit heavy, this was because of the lack of oxygen. If they were at the Nascent Soul realm, they wouldn't have this problem. Still at their current strengths it was just a slight discomfort.

The top of the mountain had an amazing view. There was even a lake on the top which made no sense to Ragna, but when he thought of the greek monsters he has seen on this mountain he could kind of guess, what kind of boss monster was here. As if on queue, Ragna heard a screeching noise, something large was emerging from the lake. What emerged was a multi-headed serpent, that almost looked like a dragon.

'Yup as I thought it's the hydra'

The hydra's head started to stretch forward trying to bite the group, Ragna dodged the head, but Elise and Reki cut off the head that attacked, then the same as the greek legends the monster grew two more heads from the head that as cut off.

"You two move aside let me handle this." When the two heard Ragna, Elise and Reki went far to the back, watching Ragna's fight. They knew from the first attack that they wouldn't really be any help in this battle, if they couldn't destroy the whole body so it can't regenerate.

Ragna smiled thinking of how much experience points this monster would give him. 'but first let me see if this works.'

Ragna even knowing that cutting a head would sprout two more, still beheaded the monster. When he saw that the experience bar was actually going up, Ragna knew that each head had a separate experience points from the whole body. Ragna smiled, the smile of a gamer who found a bug he can exploit. "Hahaha, finally found an infinite respawn site."

Ragna summoned two clones, and started cutting of the hydra's heads. Seeing Ragna fighting in a craze manner while grinning, made Elise remember the time when they were at the Magical Beasts' forest. 'Is Big brother Ragna a batlle junkie? Every time there seems to be a bunch of things he can kill, he smiles so happily... Is he not a battle junkie, but someone who likes to kill? No that can't be it, also when he gets this way he keeps on screaming incomprehensible words... What's a respawn site?' Elise looked at Ragna confused at his current behavior.

Reki who was looking at Ragna was admiring him, in her mind Ragna was doing this to train himself. 'So that's how he got stronger, it was by continuous actual battle. Being in life and death situations, must have made him improve greatly. He had no choice but to improve, to win means living the next day, while losing means death.' Reki's respect for Ragna rose.

Ragna on the other hand was simply thrilled by the experience points he was accumulating.

The battle was intense, Ragna was losing ground, it was getting harder to evade the strikes of the hydra. It's heads were now at the hundreds, and they kept on increasing because Ragna kept on beheading it.

As the heads kept on increasing the body of the Hydra seem to be expanding as well. While it was growing larger, Ragna heard some cracking sounds and looked at the ground their were standing at, he saw a bunch of cracks on the mountain. When Ragna saw this he quickly understood what was happening.

"Shit! The two of you quickly go down this mountain now! The mountain is going to collapse." When the two girls noticed the situation as well, they didn't hesitate to leave Ragna, and head down the mountain. The two girls were not being cruel to Ragna, instead they believed in Ragna.

Ragna seeing the girls were gone now, smiled ferociously at the Hydra. "Come on then, let's see how big you can get!"

Even as the mountain felt like it would collapse from the weight of the Hydra, Ragna still kept on cutting off its heads. He made the clones disappear, for now Ragna needed to restore his mana. Slash, cut, Slash, cut, Ragna kept on attacking the Hydra, he didn't know how many heads had now sprouted, but he could feel the mountain was about to be flattened by the Hydra's weight.

The mountain then collapsed unable to support the Hydra's weight, and at the same time the magical sound that Ragna was waiting to hear, was heard.

'Ding' "Congratulations host for leveling up."

Ragna had finally leveled up, he was now level 18.

When Ragna and the Hydra were falling down the collapsing mountain, Ragna thanked the Hydra. "Hey thanks for the level up, so as a gift I'll finish you in one shot." Ragna got ready to use the strongest ability he had.

"Darkness beyond twilight

A flash of light enveloped the Hydra, and eradicated it as it was falling. When Ragna saw that the Hydra was disintegrated into nothing, the fatigue of using the spell kicked in, but this time he didn't faint. Also when he killed the Hydra the wondrous sound was heard once more.

'Ding' "Congratulations host for leveling up."
