Devil of the cave

Baiyi was undertaking a mission to protect some outer sect disciples while they investigate a cave where some disciples disappeared. The investigation was suppose to be simple, get in check the surrounding area, and report back.

Baiyi was irritated, why should he an upcoming prodigy of the Heavenly Sword sect do this mediocre missions for financial resources. He should be training instead, but when he remembered Ragna's overwhelming strength, he knew that conventional training wont get him anywhere. 'Tsk after a few more missions, I'll be able to buy the information I want, then I can finally kill the fool Leylin, and that eyesore Ragna, then finally I'll be able to have Freya for myself.'

While Baiyi was daydreaming, the outer sect disciples found no clues outside the cave, so they decided to go in. After informing Baiyi of their decision the group went inside the cave.

The inside of the cave was as dark and dreary as they thought, Baiyi flicked his wrist and produce an orb of light in his palm, which he flicked forward to guide the group through the darkness. Seeing this move of his, made the outer sect disciples look at Baiyi in envy and admiration.

Feeling the gaze of the outer sect disciples, Baiyi felt pleased. 'This is how people should act in front of me, I in a superior standing, and they groveling in my feet.'

The group continued walking deeper in the cave, but was met with a dead end. There was nothing special here, not even the bodies of the missing disciples... Then why did the Heavenly Sword sect disciples disappear when doing this mission, near the cave? Actually now that they were able to think properly, who posted this mission, and the one prior to that which initiated the disappearance in the first place?

The group were eager to get some points from such an easy investigation mission they even had an inner sect disciple protecting them, that's why they didn't think properly about the situation they were in.

When the group were contemplating what to do next, the orb of light that Baiyi made flashed out.

"Senior Baiyi, what happened!?"

"Shut up! I sense an evil Qi, everyone of you gather around."

The group did as Baiyi said, and made a circle protecting each others backs. It was quiet, eerily so... Baiyi tried to make another orb of light but noticed he couldn't condense hi Qi, he then heard a voice in his head.

'Oh a suitable body finally arrived...'

"Who are you!" Baiyi screamed, the outer sect disciples got startled by Baiyi's scream, and began to worry.

"Senior Baiyi, what is it?" One of the outer sect disciple asked, but Baiyi responded with silence. Feeling something was wrong with Baiyi, the leader of the group whispered to his companions to flee. The moment he did so, Baiyi cut of his head.

"Senior Baiyi what are you doing?!" Shouted someone from the group, the others then started to run, but they weren't able to flee from Baiyi's sword. The group of outer sect disciples were simply at the first level of the Qi gathering realm, while Baiyi was at the Spirit Building realm a whole realm above them. For Baiyi killing these outer sect disciples, was like killing ants.

After killing all the outer sect disciples, Baiyi started laughing.

"It's been a long time, since I got the feel of tearing through flesh! This boy's body has a great talent for cultivating my devil arts."

'Devil, I have fulfilled my end of the bargain, now its your turn for fulfill yours.'

"Yes, in exchange for using your body, so that I can make a new one, I'll kill all the fools that made fun of you right? Leylin and Ragna, as well as those three Elders in the Heavenly Sword sect... You also want me to make that little Freya girl become your b*tch correct?"

'Yes, I want to make her mine, I want to defile her.'

"Kekeke, you really are suitable for the devil arts. So Baiyi acknowledge me as your master, and I'll bring you to greater heights."

'Baiyi greets master.'

Deep inside the devil snickered, 'Kekeke, I gained an exceptional disciple, unloved by his parents treated as a fool in his clan. His mother even going as far as telling him, to die in place of his older brother. Always being compared to that dead older brother of his, made him especially malicious, adding the fact that his great older brother was the real husband to be of his love. This kid is perfect, so much resentment.'

"Okay then Baiyi my beloved disciple, I'll be returning your body for now, seeing as I can't last long controlling it with my weakened state. So I hope you follow my instructions. and get stronger sooner, so that I can have my own old body again, and you can have the girl and your revenge."

'As you wish master.' The burning sense of rage Baiyi felt, fueled him onward towards his destined path.

Gaining his new master, and the ability to use devil arts, Baiyi incinerated the bodies of the outer sect disciples and returned to the Heavenly Sword sect. Upon return he completed the mission and reported the deaths of the outer sect disciples, and made a false report about one of the outer sect disciple going crazy, gaining newfound strength and attacking everyone. Baiyi killed the crazy disciple, but wasn't able to save the others. The Elder who heard this, scanned Baiyi's memories and found nothing abnormal, all Baiyi said was the truth. After saying his part Baiyi left with a snicker.
