Prologue: Universe Travel

Somewhere in space, an intense space battle was occurring with hundreds of thousands of spaceships encircling one strange-looking giant white spherical ship from all sides. The white spherical ship was so smooth and perfect that if someone were to scan it with an atomic microscope, they wouldn't find any flaw.

Laser, Gravity Bomb, Antimatter Cannon, and all kinds of Science Fiction weapons were blasting against the spherical object as if there is no tomorrow. This battle was staining the dark space with all kinds of colors as if they were intending to rip the space apart and destroyed the universe.

Strangely, despite being bombarded from all sides with this kind of insane weaponry. The white spherical ship didn't get damaged in the slightest and only showing a little disturbance.

Inside one of the giant flagships in the middle of the hundreds of thousands of spaceships. An alien that looks like a giant blue man with 4 big purplish vertical eyes at his face and sharp teeth with two protruding fangs in his mouth, was emotionless as he observing the screen of the battle that unfolds.

"Your Mightiness, Sovereign Dhraude. The ancient technology of the Vonix race is within your hand now, with almost all of the spacefaring species in the universe under your rule. it's only just a matter of time." An alien that looks like an octopus with yellow color and round head submissively reported.

"Hmm… Activate the Annihilation Cannon!" Sovereign Dhraude said emotionlessly as if he doesn't care about the destruction that will be caused by the Annihilation Cannon.

"Yes, Your Mightiness!" The yellow octopus alien suddenly paled in color as if being scared by the mention of Annihilation Cannon but he still does it, as he seems to be even more scared of the Sovereign.

"Forget about the technology, as long as the remains of that once most powerful race was wipe out completely from the face of the universe. Who is capable to oppose me?"

Then from the front of the flagship, some kind of red plasma condensed and fired to the white spherical spaceships. Completely blasting it off until nothing remains of it. Unknown to anyone, the ships actually manage to make the most important thing of it escape into the other part of the universe.

A starry sky view is a rare view on earth, since the industrial revolution back in 1800, the human race has already polluted the sky with carbon emission and light pollution making it impossible for people living in the city to observe the star at night.

'My name is Alex, I am just an 18-year-old average man that just graduated from high school a while back. Currently, I was observing the rich night sky with my small telescope.'

"Lucky for me to be able to observe the night sky without going to the mountain," I said as I use my telescope to observe a certain patch in the sky.

The surrounding was full of darkness as there weren't any light could be seen irradiating the place. My city for some unknown reason is currently having a blackout, it not just happens to my city but even to other cities in the region, making the observation of night sky possible.

'For me to be born in the 21st century is a curse, this is an era where everyone born in this generation is too late to explore the earth and is too early to explore space!' I cursed with regret in my heart as I thought and sighed.

I like to observe space because I dream to explore the vastness of space since my childhood but alas, I just happen to be born too early for that to happen.

While observing the night sky with my small telescope, I see a strange blink in the sky. Some kind of falling star was crossing the horizon as if it were splitting and brightening the night sky. Then, I realize that it was a strange black object entering the atmosphere and were approaching me at an insane speed.

"Shit shit shit, what is that thing? I should get away from here ASAP!!" I scream while frantically running for my life like a person that had his tail between his leg.

'Duarrr'

A loud impact sound was heard from the vicinity.

Despite already running for about 20 meters or so from my original place, I was thrown 10 meters away from that impact.

"Fuck, I broke my bone and it hurt so much! I hope the life insurance will pay me for the hospital bill." I swear dejectedly while desperately trying to get up.

Fortunately, I manage to get away in time to preserve my life.

'To begin with, what is that thing? I don't think it was a meteor since it wasn't burn completely in the atmosphere and was quite small.' A small meteor should be completely burned in the atmosphere and not able to reach the surface intact.

While pondering that I see a blink of green light suddenly appear from inside the impact crater.

"Oh, I guess to answer that question I just need to check it after all." I gather my tiny courage to find out what is inside the impact crater

as I feel that I might regret it for life if I didn't check it.

While still in pain and holding my wound with my hand, I approach the crater slowly and wait until the smoke is gone. I then saw a white spherical object the size of a palm in the middle of the crater.

A strange monotone sound was heard.

["beep beep beep…"]

I approach the object and then touch it, the texture of the spherical object was so smooth and even smoother than every object that I ever touched in my life by a thousandfold as if it didn't have any flaw at all.

Just then, a Strange Language was heard immediately after I touch it, and then it suddenly spoke English.

["Synchronizing language completed, Initiating back up power…. Initiating complete"]

'What strange object is this? I will be richhh if I sell it to the governme.., no wait I will be apprehended if that happens!' while I was considering how to get rich by selling it, the object spoke again.

["Searching for Vonix race remnant…. Searching failed, no Vonix race remaining alive…. Searching for a new intelligent race to be an inheritor….. Searching completed, the Human race was found…. Alex an 18-years-old ordinary human was selected as it's master to inherit Vonix race technology"]

"Wait a minute, how could this thing know my identity?? No more than that, what is a Vonix race?" I was flabbergasted shock by the sudden rambling of the object.

Not bothering to answer my question, the object continued,

["Since a lot of species want the Vonix technology in this universe, Initiating other universe travel will be conducted, Finding Universe X-0927 to be suitable….. Initiating…. 3"]

"Wait I still don't even know what a Vonix race is… wait, I said waitttttttttt!!!" I snap loudly as I tried to get away but my action is futile as the spherical object is chasing after me no matter where I go.

Not minding what I said the monotone voice continued.

["2.....1... Start"]

At that moment, I see the space around me was ripped apart, I was suck and thrown inside of it as I didn't have any control of my body.

["The amount of energy needed is insufficient….. physical travel is impossible…. The soul will be extracted to do travel instead…."] Said the object in a still monotone voice.

When the spherical object finishes saying, I felt a tingling sensation creep to every corner of my body as I felt that something strange was forcefully sucked out from my body. Then, I realize that it was my soul that got separated from my body.

"What is going on? Why is my body there being ripped apart….. did my soul was really separated from my body? Will I die?" Everyone else in my place would have been scared to death as well if this were to happen to them.

No more than 5 minutes passed since my soul was separated, the spherical object that my soul was attached to said something.

["Travelling about to be completed….. Traveling completed…. Finding a body for the host to reside…. A suitable body successfully found"]

That was the last thing I heard before I completely lost consciousness.

In a certain Mansion of an aristocrat, an 11-year-old boy was running in a hallway, when he got neared the stair to the 1st floor, he tripped his leg for an unknown reason and fall down the stair head first.

""Young Master!!!"" A butler and a maid that was following him scream with concern and approached the fallen boy.

"Young Master, are you alright?" asked the butler while holding the boy is body with uncertainty.

At that moment a space outside the mansion was ripped apart and a strange spherical object the size of a palm float outside.

["Scanning the atmosphere of the planet…. Scanning completed, The Atmosphere contained 76% Nitrogen, 22% Oxygen, 0.9% Argon, 0.1 % other gas and unknown 1% gas"]

After scanning the atmosphere, the spherical object approached the mansion.

["Initiating soul transfer….. Soul transfer Completed…. Initiating the fusion of the core to the human body…. Fusion Completed"]

After said that, the spherical object vanishes into a white light and fused with the unconscious boy.
