11 Biological Chamber and Prelude

As I had finished my business in the Synthesize Chamber, it's time to check the Biological Chamber.

Then, I went inside the Biological Chamber to see that it was quite hideous inside. All kinds of equipment, used for making synthetic beast were displayed on the side of the room.

Of course, I didn't forget to bring the pile of beast corpse with me. Then, I asked Vonix what I could make it to.

"Vonix, give me a list for synthetic beast army!" I asked as I inspect the equipment on the side.

["Affirmative!"] A flat tone sound replied.

Afterward, a list of all kinds of synthetic beast appeared in front of me. The synthetic beast was divided into two-part, the first is to reanimate the beast as it was before with additional synthetic technology, and the other is to make a new kind of synthetic beast or a hybrid.

The first kind will only have a strength not much greater than before it was dead but will have a bigger potential to improve. On the other hand, the later will create a stronger synthetic beast but with limited potential or even none to improve.

As the beast that the robots had hunted was a low-class beast with no big potential, to begin with, I decided to make the second kind or a hybrid.

Then, I ordered the robots bringing the pile of beast corpse to put it in a tube-like object to be turned into a bio-mass.

There were all kinds of hybrid synthetic beast I could make with the corpse; chimera and a blob of flesh were also possible to be made.

But in the end, I decided to make a 'Siege Beast'. A giant beast that was enclosed in a futuristic metal armor that was capable of bringing all kinds of weapons. The reason I choose this is that it could be used as a siege weapon since it was made by the flesh of an extraordinary beast, it was very mobile and also was strong.

Just as I choose to make that, the pile of beast corpses turned into a pile of bio-mass and then processed into a giant flesh beast that has an appearance resembling a dinosaur around 6-8 meters tall, depending on variety.

Then, the giant beasts were enclosed in a futuristic metal armor and all kinds of weapons were attached in the side and the back of the beast. Missiles, cannons, and railgun were attached to the beast, making the beast scary and mighty in appearance.

Even without the armor and technology, the giant beast has a strength equal to a Knight Rank powerhouse. Well, even if its mobility wasn't as good as a normal Knight, with all kinds of weapons attached to it, killing a Knight powerhouse is as easy as killing an ant.

Unfortunately, with the pile of corpse currently available, making five of it is a limit.

"Bringing a giant beast like this will definitely attract a lot of unwanted attention and were inefficient, is there any way to make it small or something?" My head ached just thinking the consequence of bringing a giant beast like this out.

"A space stones? Where could I even procure such a thing? It was rumored that even a mighty magus might not have such a thing!" I snapped dejectedly.

Space stone is a rare stone that could only be found from a meteor that crashes into this world. It was also a core material to make a spatial ring and all kinds of equipment related to spatial magic

After saying that, I suddenly remembered the spatial ring that I had left in the base. Then, I decided to check the spatial ring while waiting for the 'Siege Beast' to be completed.

As I reach the core room in the base, a spatial ring was sitting in the middle of the platform on the left side of the room.

"Vonix, get the thing inside the spatial ring out into the room," I said, as I approach the platform.

["Affirmative"]

Then a pile of the object appeared in my surroundings. Gold coins, books, clothes, food, and even a magic stone lying around on the floor.

As I rummage the object with a pleased expression, I realize there were around 500 gold coins, a dozen or so books, ten or so set of clothes, and 100 low-quality magic stones.

My eyes gleamed in excitement seeing the one hundred pile of low-quality magic stone. In this world, there were all kinds of magic stones, from low-quality magic stone that was commonly used by Magus Apprentice, and to high-quality magic stone that only a mighty Magus had.

The reason magic stone was so sought after is because not only they were rare and limited in number, they were also used to help Magus meditate and achieve a higher realm.

Then, as I still gleamed in excitement, I put my hands on the pile of books on the side. The books compiled of the gloomy Magus's journal, his meditation technique, a few books of spells, and also the diary of the lost Ancient Magus that he got from the library.

I decided not to touch the meditation technique right now, as I still lack information on the Magus path. Magus path is way more complicated than the Knight path, and of course, stronger.

Afterward, I pick the diary and realized that the language used in the diary is a Magic Language. So, I told Vonix to translate it first and start reading the book afterward. The early part of the book describes an ancient magus's research and experiment but the latter part of the diary is…

'My diary'

'Day 26 of the third month in year 3892 of the third Magus Empire era.'

'As I was researching at the empire's capital of the downfall of the previous dynasty, I receive a piece of information that in one part of the Euporia Continent, there is an unknown turbulence. So, I decided to come there to do research.'

'Day 5 of the fourth month in year 3892 of the third Magus Empire era.'

'As I reach the Euporia Continent, I decided to set up a Magus tower as my base to do research on the incident that was happening here.'

…. The next part of the diary told his investigation of the mysterious turbulence that wasn't clear on the explanation but then my eye twitch seeing the next part.

'Day 16 of the first month in year 3893 of the third Magus Empire era.'

'What is happening? How… how could this happen..?? The experiment on the object revealed a mystery, that I shouldn't have known!! This is wrong… wrong...'

The diary becoming more and more unclear and the writing becoming worse.

'Day 19 of the first month in year 3893 of the third Magus Empire era.'

'I don't know what's happening anymore… if this is the reason… I should be better not knowing than know the ugly truth… Yeah, let's keep this secret with me in grave...'

Then the diary was cut off.

"What the heck is this? Is it a prank of some kind?" But then I realize that pranking in Magic Language is impossible, as writing a lie is impossible in Magic Language. To begin with, Magic Language could only be written with the spiritual power of a Magus.

As I was indignant with the content of the book, I noticed there is a map inside the back cover of the book. Surprisingly, it was a map resembling the geography of the Xendra's territory.

There was an image of a magus tower or some kind, mark in the north of the intersection of the river. It was a place around 100 kilometers north of the town of Moonmoor.

"interesting, so this is were the map that the gloomy Magus relied upon," I said in wonder what was waiting for me in there.

But then I became cautious, as there is a weird feeling about this place and the content of the diary.

'Anyway, what I could do for now was to send a reconnaissance unit to check that place out. Then send my force to secure the area.' I thought of my plan firmly while clenching my fist in determination.

"No matter what it's I will face, to gather knowledge and power, I will do anything," I said in determination.

Four days past in the blink of an eye,

An army of five thousand strong were crossing a forest in a domineering manner.

There was a noble playing with his long mustache with a crafty smile that could be seen from inside a luxurious carriage. The carriage was placed in the center of the formation, the safest area in the formation. From the attitude that he shows, he was definitely a shrewd noble.
