Chapter 17

Michelle's pov

We walked to the school clinic as I leaned on Kate for support. My leg hurts so bad and I feared I might not be able to play later in the day.

We got to the school clinic and I sat on the bed. The nurse examined my ankle.

"Does it hurt?" She asked as she twisted my ankle.

"Yes. it hurts so bad." I answered.

"I'm afraid you have a broken ankle." She said as she wore her glasses and took a pen and a paper as she wrote down some words.

"Here, you have to use this drugs and make sure you don't stress the leg." She said and she handed over the piece of paper to me.

"Thank you ma." I grunted.

"Should I tell the coach you won't be able to play today?" Kate asked.

"No, I'll play and make sure I play well." I stood up and tried walking by myself.

"Ouch! This hurts so bad." I exclaimed.

"Sorry Michelle. Let's just go to the court."

We both walked to the court and we met the coach and the other players pacing around impatiently.
