5 Action Begins

Orochimaru entered the room where Akimitsu was. There, he saw many Akimitmsu doing different things: some were instantly disappearing and appearing in another location using a kunai, some were using Fuinjutsu, while one seemed to be using Impure Reincarnation.

'Did he master all these Forbidden Jutsu I gave him in just one month? How talented is this guy?' secretly thought Orochimaru.

Meanwhile, after noticing his presence, AKimitsu asked calmly: "Do you need something?"

"I have made a discovery."

Nodding his head, Akimitsu dispersed all the shadow clones, then received their memories. After taking a moment to review and retain these memories, he followed Orochimaru to his laboratory.

"So, what did you discover?"

"After going over the data you brought and analyzing the bodies you brought, I have discovered the gene needed to activate the Rinnegan."

Orochimaru paused, then continued in his hoarse voice: "As a matter of fact, I notice that all the bodies you brought me have the potential to awaken both the Sharingan and Byakugan. And even possessed the gene to evolve this Dojutsu to higher levels."

Akimitsu was not surprised by this news after hearing about it; as a member of the Osutsuki clan, their genes are more complex and thorough than the Huga and Uchiha clans.

And one of Akimimitsu's goals is not just awakening the Rinnegan, but the Tenseigan at the same time.

"Of course this is not my only discovery," said Orochimaru as he licked his lips. "I discovered a special gene; you can call it the source of all the Dojutsu of all these people."

Akimitsu's breath suddenly became heavy after hearing this. 'Could he have found the Otsusuki Gene? The one needed for me to turn into a true member of the clan.'

"This gene is truly fascinating," continued Orochimaru. "If my theory is correct, if activated, this gene would completely change the double-helix structure of the DNA, thus turning these people into a completely different species that looked similar to humans.

Orochimaru then looked at Akimitsu before saying: "I am more and more interested in your identity as you definitely not a member of the Uchiha clan."

"Does my identity truly matters?"

"I guess not." Orochimaru was truly fascinated by this discovery as it has proven that his new 'partner' has not lied to him; there may be a way for him to achieve immortality.

"Can you activate these genes?" asked Akimitsu, trying his best to contain his excitement.

"Unfortunately, no," replied Orochimaru.

"Any ideas?" replied Akimitsu, although he expected this outcome, he was still a little disappointed.

"My best guess is that a specific chakra and way to use that chakra is needed to activate them. As for exactly that chakra is and how to use it, I currently have no idea."

Akimitsu nodded, then he began to review his memories of the Naruto series. One thing that he noticed after his reincarnation was that his memories of all the movies and animes he watched are overwhelming clear in his mind, but all the memories about his personal life are gone.

So, he does not know who he was back on Earth or his friends and families were. Or even if he had any. He only knew that he died in a car accident at the age of 34.

And after he reincarnated, his personality was cold, indifferent, and ruthless. He does not know whether he was like this back on Earth, or this was a result of being affected by this new body. After all, the Okutsuku clan is one where clan members can kill one another to become stronger. If it was not for the strict clan rules, all these people would have tried to swallow the chakra of one another.

And this ruthlessness was also a part of many of the Branch members.

After review his memories, he muttered to himself: "Luckily, I came at the right time. Still, there should be plenty of time left."

He then looked at Orochimaru and said: "I need you to find a way to activate both the Sharingan and Byakugan in one body."

"No problem."

Soon, six months passed by, and Orochimaru did manage to find a way for a single body to have two Dojutsu. However, the process required a minor operation. Since Akimitsu did not trust him, he had to learn how to do it by himself, then used shadow clones to do the operation.

Once finished, Akimitsu looked at his palms, the two eyes white eyes appeared. Then, under his directive, the eyes in his palm turned into his Mangekyou Sharingan, and his real eyes turned into the Byakugan.

Akimitsu did not care for his grotesque appearance with two eyes in his palms. As a member of the Osutsuki clan, he was not human in the first place, so he did not care for human aesthetics.

"It's a shame that the Byagukan is only in the first awakening stage," muttered Akimitsu. "However, it does not matter. If my plan work, I can directly awaken the Tenseigan."

Then, he started testing his newfound ocular powers while thinking of the best way to use them in battles. Then, a sudden memory appeared in his mind from one of the clones he sent out.

"Right in time." Then, he entered the mirror dimension to teleport somewhere.

In a forest, a child that looked about six years old looked at a dead body on the ground with tears in his eyes. This person was his best friend, and he let him die.

Suddenly, his eyes changed. The pattern became something completely different than the usual Three-Tomoe. The child touched his eyes as he muttered: "Is this the Mangekyou Sharingan? If this is the price I have to pay to acquire such a power, I would rather not."

However, while the child was momentarily distracted, a hand suddenly appeared and pierced his heart from the back, making him cough blood. With difficulty, he turned his head only to see a person in a mask with similar eyes as him. "A member of the Uchiha clan? Why?"

However, the person did not answer him but just gorge out both his eyes. Then, the child fell to the ground, dead.

'Now that I have Uchiha Shisui's eyes, my plan can finally begin," thought Akimitsu to himself. Then, he used a Fire Release Jutsu to completely burn the corpse; he did not want to risk someone using samples from his body to re-aminate his corpse using Impure Reincarnation.

After that, Akimitsu teleported to his next destination.
